The Baseballs ringer in julen och det nya året med sitt album Good Ol 'Christmas - en personlig samling av bandets julfavoriter. <br/><br/>På skivan framför bandmedlemmarna Sam, Digger och Basti ett helt gäng julklassiker - allt i sann rockabilly-vibe. Självklart får vi höra bandets tolkningar av låtar som Oh Holy Night, Silent Night och dängor som Winter Wonderland, Have yourself a merry little Christmas och Melanie Thornton's Wonderful Dream.<br/><br/>Good ol' Christmas spelades in runt midsommar så killarna fick ta till några knep för att få till julstämmningen i studion. "We blacked out the windows and imagined that it was snowing outside - which wasn't too easy, with 40 degrees in the singing booth," berättar Sam, och Basti tillägger skrattande: "We brought along a winter tea mix that we had left at home. Put a mug of that in the studio, and you get that Christmas feel straightaway!"<br/><br/>Att spela in en julskiva hade varit på bandets önskelista länge. Sam: "We all really love the Christmas period. The atmosphere, waiting for that day, spending time with your family - that's great and something special every year. Even Elvis released several Christmas albums during his career, and many other big rock'n'roll musicians did the same. Rock'n'roll and Christmas simply belong together. For us, it was our heart's desire and a great honour to be able to record this Christmas CD. We wanted to pay tribute to Christmas with this peaceful album, and those few groovy tunes."
