I boxen "Every Bit Of My Life 1967-2017" summeras ett halvt sekel Björn Skifs på skiva på 24 CD. Det är en mäktig musikalisk historieskrivning över en av Sveriges mest framgångsrika artistkarriärer någonsin. Här finns alla hans 16 soloalbum, skivorna med Björns 60-talsgrupp Slam Creepers', de två klassiska albumen med Björn Skifs och Blåblus (Blue Swede) och albumet med gruppen Zkiffz.<br/><br/>Men det slutar inte där. I boxen ingår även fyra fullmatade bonusskivor, "Singlar, duetter, outgivet och annat vol. 1-4". Där finns hits, obskyra B-sidor, höjdpunkter ur musikalsuccén "Spök!", samarbetet med låtskrivaren David Foster, och mycket mer. <br/>En stor del av materialet släpps på CD för första gången. <br/><br/>"Jag har själv aldrig ens kunnat föreställa mig att alla mina skivor skulle komma att samlas i en så här fin liten box. Neil Young continues his Official Release Series (ORS) with the next installment of four classic titles from the 1990s. ORS Vol 6: Discs 26, 27, 28 & 29 collects HARVEST MOON, UNPLUGGED, SLEEPS WITH ANGELS and MIRROR BALL in the ongoing reissue series. <br/><br/>Each disc in the limited edition, numbered box sets will contain 4 albums with the original, historically accurate artwork and will be reissued on double vinyl LPs, while the CD box contains single CD sets per title. MIRROR BALL is an analog recording and the album has been remastered from the original analog masters by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. Additionally, four of the tracks have been remixed by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. ("I'm The Ocean", "Big Green Country", "Truth Be Known", "Throw Your Hatred Down"<br/> <br/>HARVEST MOON (ORS Disc 26), originally released in 1992, helped open a new decade of Young's music with what would become instant new classics like the title track "Harvest Moon," "From Hank to Hendrix," and "One of These Days." It included originals written in the 1980s as well as brand new songs, which quickly became fan favorites and one of the most beloved albums in Young's recorded output. <br/> <br/>UNPLUGGED (ORS Disc 27), originally released in 1993, was first recorded for an MTV Unplugged concert, along with additional live recordings. Young thoughtfully assembled a group of musicians he had recorded with over the years for this special aggregation that quickly became a collector's item as tapes were first shared from the show among his fans. The official live album is considered an acoustic one-of-a-kind release from Young's 90's cannon. <br/> <br/>SLEEPS WITH ANGELS (ORS Disc 28), originally released in 1994, is an album that wrote its own legend when released. Including the 14-minute song "Change Your Mind" and "Unknown Legend," it had a distinctiveness with Crazy Horse that Young achieved by keeping the sessions as spontaneous and immediate as possible allowing the tracks to breathe and come to life in real time. SLEEPS WITH ANGELS was the last album to be produced by Neil's long-time collaborator David Briggs, who passed away in 1995 at age 51, which also brings a special meaning to these recordings. <br/> <br/>MIRROR BALL (ORS Disc 29), is a double-album originally released in 1995 and recorded with Pearl Jam. Considering the Seattle band was one of the prime movers of rock bands in the 1990s, it was an event immediately upon its release, and found a rabid, younger audience and inspired long-time fans alike with its inherent high energy. Songs like "I Am The Ocean," "Throw Your Hatred Down" helped impact so much of the second half of the 1990s. <br/> <br/>The OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES VOLUME 6 - DISCS 26, 27, 28 & 29 (ORS Vol 6) captures a large visceral part of the era, when Young was continuing his exploration of music with an unrelenting edge, in ways that he hadn't really done before. These four releases took him towards a new century, and anticipated some of the musical places he would soon explore. The songs also capture some of the massive changes that the 2000s would bring, and ways that music would take on challenges that are still very much being met.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers famously played 20 nights at the legendary Fillmore venue in San Francisco in 1997. 6 of the shows were professionally recorded and this release features many of the high points of the residency. The small venue allowed the band to vary their sets each night; they included re-arranged and distinctive versions of their hits, deep cuts, and many cover versions-paying tribute to the artists that Tom and the band had been influenced by. The 4 CD deluxe edition includes 58 tracks, 35 of which are covers - over 4 hours of music. The 4 CDs are packaged in a box with a 32-page booklet (with previously unseen photographs), 3 custom guitar picks, a replica All Access laminate, and an embroidered patch ("The Fillmore House Band" -a term that was bestowed on The Heartbreakers during the shows at the Fillmore).

Black Sabbath's first official live album, Live Evil, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year with a new Super Deluxe Edition that introduces newly remixed and remastered versions of the acclaimed double album.<br/><br/>The collections feature two versions of the legendary album: a newly remastered version by Andy Pearce along with a new mix created from the original analog multi-tracks by longtime band associate Wyn Davis. Before his death in January, legendary guitarist Jeff Beck revisited concert recordings made by Beck, Bogert & Appice, the power trio he formed in 1972 with drummer/singer Carmine Appice and bassist/singer Tim Bogert. The live music captures the band at the beginning and end of its short-but-influential partnership, with two shows in Japan in 1973 and one of the group's final performances in London a year later.<br/><br/>All three band members were involved in creating LIVE IN JAPAN 1973, LIVE IN LONDON 1974, and the collection is dedicated to Beck and Bogert, who died in 2023 and 2021, respectively. The set includes an expansive booklet with extended liner notes detailing the group's history by music journalist/manager Bruce Pilato, along with memorabilia, archival photos, and a replica poster.<br/><br/>Beck and Appice mixed all the concerts in this set from the original multi-tracks that had been in Beck's archive for almost 50 years, thus knocking the many bootleg quality releases, that Beck hated, out of the park! The two performances at Koseinenkin Hall in Osaka, Japan (recorded May 18 and 19, 1973) were released exclusively in Japan a few months after the shows, but never in the U.S. The complete concert at the Rainbow Theatre in London, England (recorded January 26, 1974) has never been released anywhere. <br/><br/>In the booklet, Pilato explores the short existence and lasting legacy of Beck, Bogert & Appice, a supergroup that critics once hailed as "the first successor to Cream" (Melody Maker) and an "ensemble of virtually unparalleled magnificence" (NME). <br/><br/>LIVE IN JAPAN 1973 was recorded only a few weeks after Beck, Bogert & Appice's self-titled debut came out. The music ripples with raw energy as the group delivers exhilarating live versions of nearly every song on the album, including "Superstition," "Lady," and "Livin' Alone." The trio also played songs by the Yardbirds ("Jeff's Boogie") and the Jeff Beck Group ("Morning Dew" and "Going Down.")

Neil Young's OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES VOLUME 5 is a stunning collection of four albums that begins with the exciting renaissance that came with the release of FREEDOM in 1989, and continues on the unequaled exploration of collections RAGGED GLORY (1990), WELD (1991) and ARC (1991). In many ways, it is a musical travelogue of how Young saw the future and opened up creative worlds for the use of sound and originality which had not been used before. <br/><br/>Like all the reissues in this series, the albums are remastered from the best source available -original analog tape in the case of Ragged Glory. The CD of Ragged Glory has also been remastered. <br/><br/>The box set are numbered.
