Jethro Tull 'Under Wraps: The Unwrapped Edition' brings together two of Ian Anderson's most ambitious and fearless albums - 1984's 'Under Wraps', a Jethro Tull album, and his debut solo album 'Walk Into The Light' released in 1983.<br/><br/>These two albums hold significant importance in Ian Anderson's vast body of work, marking a notable shift from Jethro Tull's established sound. Already recognised as one of his generation's most innovative songwriters, Anderson embraced cutting edge technology, integrating synthesizers and drum machines. This was a considerable move away from the band's traditional folk roots and illustrated their ability to adapt to the evolving musical landscape.<br/><br/>This comprehensive 5CD & Blu-Ray set has been overseen by Ian Anderson and includes both original albums extensively remixed twice by Bruce Soord - '2026 Drums' and 'Original Drums' remixes. These discs also include associated recordings from that period. The fifth CD is a live recording from a BBC Radio 1 concert at The Hammersmith Odeon in 1984 and the Blu-Ray contains stereo and DOLBY ATMOS mixes, along with promo videos from the era. The set comes complete with a 100-page book offering an extensive article on the making of the records.

Swedish high energy rockers THE HELLACOPTERS have been celebrating their 30th anniversary recently and after releasing something new - the much-lauded "Overdriver" album on January 31, 2025, which reached No. 1 in the Swedish charts for the second time in the group's career - it is time to offer their dedicated fanbase something truly nostalgic. "Cream Of The Crap! Collected Non-Album Works o Volume 3" is the long-overdue follow-up in a series of rarities collections started in 2002 combining material from a myriad of singles, EPs, and compilations. The 24 tracks featured in this set have originally been released between 1995 and 2004, and include originals like 'Disappointment Blues', 'Freeway To Hell', 'Doggone Your Bad-Luck Soul' and 'Long Gone Losers' as well as many cover versions of songs by Motörhead, Wilson Pickett, MC5, Smokey Robsinson, Alice Cooper, the Ramones, the Nomads, and Adam West - whose singer Jake Starr penned liner notes for this release - and many, many more. Meticulously compiled by Robert Eriksson, transferred from master tapes and vinyl by Henke Jonsson, and remastered for maximum audio fidelity by Magnus Lindberg, THE HELLACOPTERS proudly present a stunning collection of incredible, high-octane rock'n'roll on this over 75 minutes long double vinyl.

Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor is not only one of the most celebrated albums of the 21st century but continues to be an influential reference within pop and dance music. Originally released in 2005, the record features 12 seamless club tracks including the global hits "Hung Up," "Sorry," "Jump" and the deep cut favorite "Get Together." For the first time, the full continuous mix has been pressed on 2LP silver vinyl and carefully adapted to its groundbreaking technical specifications, while preserving the album's club flow as Madonna originally intended. The dance floor is calling, no time to hesitate.

After a nearly five-decade (and counting) career as one of his generation's defining rock bassists, Flea releases his first full-length solo album, Honora, on Nonesuch Records. <br/>Time and space have finally allowed him to return to his first musical loves: jazz and playing the trumpet.<br/> <br/>For Honora, which takes its name from a beloved family member, Flea composed and arranged the music, and also plays trumpet and bass throughout, joined by an elite crew of modern jazz visionaries: album producer and saxophonist Josh Johnson, guitarist Jeff Parker, bassist Anna Butterss, and drummer Deantoni Parks. The record features vocals from Flea, as well as friends Thom Yorke and Nick Cave. Mauro Refosco (David Byrne, Atoms for Peace) and Nate Walcott (Bright Eyes), among others, also join the band. <br/>The album comprises six original songs-including one co-written by Flea, Johnson, and Yorke-as well as interpretations of tunes by George Clinton and Eddie Hazel, Jimmy Webb, Frank Ocean and Shea Taylor, and Ann Ronell.

On the exact day of its Golden Jubilee, STATION TO STATION will be issued as a limited edition 50th anniversary half-speed mastered picture disc LP with a reproduction of a poster used to advertise the album 50 years ago.<br/><br/>The album saw Bowie relocate to Cherokee Studio in Los Angeles and incorporate elements of his 'Plastic Soul' period, coupled with much more experimental elements, which would become more prevalent over his next couple of albums. The first single from the album GOLDEN YEARS, released in November 1975, would give Bowie a top ten single on both sides of the Atlantic. The second single, TVC 15, would, a decade later, be heard and seen by almost 2 billion people when Bowie chose it to open his set at Live Aid.<br/><br/>The sound of STATION TO STATION was partly influenced by Bowie's burgeoning interest in the electronic music and driving rhythms of bands coming out of Germany, such as NEU! and Kraftwerk, most notably on the ten-minute title track, while still embracing dancefloor-friendly grooves in songs such as STAY and GOLDEN YEARS.<br/><br/>Harry Maslin, who had worked with Bowie on some of the tracks on his previous album, YOUNG AMERICANS, was chosen as Bowie's co-producer. They entered the studio in September 1975 with a tight stripped-down band featuring Carlos Alomar & Earl Slick on guitars, George Murray on bass, Dennis Davis on drums, David's Childhood friend Geoffe MacCormack (under the nom de plume Warren Peace) on backing vocals and on loan from Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band, Roy Bittan on piano and organ. Maslin has since said that the vocals on the standout track WILD IS THE WIND and GOLDEN YEARS were both Bowie's first takes.<br/><br/>Ten days after the album's release, David started the ISOLAR TOUR, which visited over 65 dates in 11 countries and is cited as being hugely influential for its use of banks of fluorescent white light set against black backdrops. At the end of the tour, Bowie started work on Iggy Pop's debut solo album, The Idiot, when the pair and producer Tony Visconti moved to Berlin to mix the record. David settled there, ready to begin his next groundbreaking musical adventure.<br/><br/>This new pressing of STATION TO STATION was cut on a customised late Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronics from 192kHz restored masters of the original Record Plant master tapes, with no additional processing on transfer. The half-speed was cut by John Webber at AIR Studios.
