After nearly 3 decades, Sublime return with Until the Sun Explodes, their first full-length album with Jakob Nowell as front man, arriving June 12 on Atlantic Records. Featuring collaborations with H.R. of Bad Brains, Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, G Love and more, the album stays rooted in the band's classic sound while opening a new chapter. The title track and lead single, "Until The Sun Explodes," finds Jakob Nowell honoring his late father, Bradley Nowell.<br/> <br/>"The last Sublime record that will ever be made is Self-Titled. This triple-LP set of twenty-three songs was recorded live during a 2023 tour by Anderson and the jazz band Sexmob-Steven Bernstein and Briggan Krauss on brass, Kenny Wollesen on percussion, Douglas Wieselman on winds and guitar, and Tony Scherr on bass. Its cover and interior packaging feature paintings by Anderson. The album features twenty-three songs, including many favorites from throughout Anderson's career, performed in new arrangements-plus one by Lou Reed and Metallica, "Junior Dad." The title track, from Anderson's landmark 1982 album Big Science, along with a visualizer.
