"King of man" är uppföljaren till den självbetitlade och platinasäljande solodebuten som släpptes i samband med att Jay Smith vann Idol 2010. Jay blev oerhört populär bland svenska folket och uppmärksammad av den amerikanska nöjesprofilen Perez Hilton. Efter Idol valde Jay att ta en paus med solokarriären och fortsätta med sitt band Von Benzo och deras skiva "Yes kids it's true" som kom 2011. <br/><br/>På "King of man" har Jay denna gång bl.a. jobbat tillsamman med producenten Dan Sundquist. <br/>Dom har nu tillsammans skapat den naturliga fortsättningen på Jays solokarriär. Jay har en otrolig röst som bokstavligen trollbinder sin publik. Låtarna och framför allt texterna på skivan har han skrivit på ett naket och ärligt sätt direkt ifrån hjärtat.
