Cult Scandinavian Folk Metal! Otyg's demo recordings "Galdersång Till Bergfadern" remastered from the original tapes! The third and final Otyg demo stands as the last hushed whisper before the band stepped into the light. Recorded in 1997 and never officially released at the time, "Galdersång Till Bergfadern" laid the foundation for much of what would become "Älvefärd", several tracks were later re-recorded for that full-length. Here the melodies are ancient, the rhythms untamed, and the group already locked in on their own language of Scandinavian Folk and Metal. You can hear the roots of violin, flute and lute dancing with guitar and voice, all pushing forward into territory only Otyg could define. Remastered in 2025 by Vintersorg, this re-issue keeps the raw edge intact while giving the recordings the clarity they deserve.

Before folk Metal turned into a gimmick, Otyg were already there; "Bergtagen" captures the band at its purest. Earthy, melodic, and deeply Scandinavian. No posturing, no plastic bombast. Just strong riffs, breathing rhythms, violin, jaw harp, and Vintersorg sounding raw, urgent, and serious. Though often called a demo, "Bergtagen" never felt like one. The songs are fully formed, memorable, and played with intent.

"I Trollskogens Drömmande Mörker" is Otyg stepping further into their own world. More bite, more movement, and more confidence than "Bergtagen". The songs are tighter, the melodies sharper, and the playing more adventurous, without losing the natural Folk feel. The violin and female vocals are woven into the music, not sitting on top of it. They add depth and character rather than decoration. Remastered in 2025 by Vintersorg, this re-issue keeps the raw edge intact while giving the recordings the clarity they deserve.

Pariah's "Unity" re-issued! Satan released this album under the name Pariah in 1997! Thrash Metal attack! First time on vinyl. "Unity" was the comeback album of Pariah/Satan, released after 9 years after they split-up, in 1997. Released on the band's own label Aartee Music, and only 1.000 copies were made on CD. The compositions are more varied than before. This more diverse approach to songwriting leads to some first-rate guitar work from Steve and Russ, who are just as comfortable blazing away with thrash riffs as they are the kind of killer twin guitar work they're known for, and every song has bushels of hooky, smoking riffs that rival the best of them. This is Pariah we are talking about and the material is strong enough to make "Unity" an entirely worthy comeback and a worthwhile listen.
