50th anniversary half-speed mastered LP.<br/>This new pressing of PIN UPS was cut on a customised late Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronics from 192kHz restored masters of the original master tapes, with no additional processing on transfer. John Webber cut the half-speed at AIR Studios.<br/> <br/>Recorded at Château d'Hérouville in France, where Bowie would later return to record the masterpiece LOW, PIN UPS was a collection of cover songs paying tribute to bands and artists that had inspired him and that he had seen at clubs such as The Marquee in London in the mid to late 60s. Artists he covered for the album included The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Who, Pretty Things, The Easybeats and more.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Talk Talk's iconic 'It's My Life' album, it has been cut at Half-Speed by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, overseen by Talk Talk drummer Lee Harris and Charlie Hollis, son of Mark Hollis, giving the album a greater depth.

The Pretenders return with RELENTLESS, their fourteenth studio album, due for release on September 1st. Arriving with the impulsiveness and attitude that at once defines the band's eternal spirit, RELENTLESS is a clearly defined snapshot of where The Pretenders are in 2023. RELENTLESS is the second consecutive Pretenders album to be written as a collaboration between Chrissie Hynde and the band's resident guitar hero, James Walbourne. Especially sought after in his own right, having recorded with Dave Gahan, Jerry Lee Lewis, and The Rails amongst many more. Produced by David Wrench and recorded at Battery Studios in West London, the album's 12 tracks feature what Chrissie describes as "The Pretenders Collective." This extended band features James Walbourne (guitars), Kris Sonne (drums), Chris Hill (double bass), Dave Page (bass) and Carwyn Ellis (keyboards and guitars). RELENTLESS also features a long hoped-for collaboration with the esteemed composer Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead, The Smile), who provides the string arrangement and conducted the 12 Ensemble for the album's beautiful closing track, "I Think About You Daily."
