Gerry Mulligan and Stan Getz are far and away two of the greatest legends of jazz. This album is like two sax shaped butterflies, one baritone, one tenor darting around one another. Together Mulligan and Getz make the most sublime combinations and riff off each other with a musical choreography that is dazzling. They also improvise simultaneously with great results. They even swap horns for several songs....Getz playing baritone and Mulligan playing tenor with Lou Levy on Piano, Ray Brown on bass and the great Stan Levey is on drums. The album contain two bonus tracks: Charlie Parker's "Scrapple From The Apple (8:09)" and Lorenz Hart & Richard Rogers' "I Didn't Know What Time it Was (8:59)."

"Vertigo" is a 1958 American film noir psychological Thriller film directed and produced by *Alfred Hitchcock.* The story was based on the 1954 novel D'entre les morts (From Among the Dead) by Boileau-Narcejac. On this LP you will find the music of the original soundtrack by Bernard Herrmann, orchestra directed by Muir Mathieson, along with some bonus tracks culled from other *Alfred Hitchcock* films and even from the television series.

'The Soul Stirrers' were an American gospel music group founded in 1926. In 1950 Sam Cooke replaced R.H. Harris as lead singer. Their first recording under Sam Cooke's leadership was the song "Jesus Gave Me Water" in 1951. They also recorded the gospel songs "Peace In The Valley", "How Far Am I From Canaan?", "Jesus Paid The Debt" and "One More River", among many others. 'The Soul Stirrers' and all of its members were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 as one of rock's early influences, and into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2000. Cooke was the inspiration for nearly every soul singer you will ever hear. On December 11, 1964, at the age of 33, Sam Cooke was shot and killed.<br/><br/>HIGH QUALITY
