Driven by grief and a desire to reach some kind of understanding of his dead son, Tom decides to embark on the 800km pilgrimage himself. Renton, Spud and Sick Boy's issues with drugs alternatively irritate and amuse their friend Begbie (Robert Carlyle), a periodic psychopath whose outbursts of violence are one of the many factors that convince Renton to leave for London in the hope of starting a new life. Renton enjoys some success remoulding himself as an estate agent in the English capital, but it isn't long before his friends catch up with him. However, the retiring superspy finds himself summoned back to the 'Circus' (British secret service) when it transpires that an enemy infiltrator is at work in the department. Smiley returns once again to his old department in 'Smiley's People' (1982) following the murder of his friend, General Vladimir, a Russian who once worked for British Intelligence. When it transpires that Vladimir was in fact a double agent, Smiley becomes engaged in a battle of wills with his old adversaries at the Moscow Centre.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Whereas Linda acts on her passion with abandon Fanny is much more considerate about the consequences of choosing a romantic partner. However, for all of Linda's yearning to embrace a bohemian lifestyle she struggles to break free from the confines of her strict disciplinarian father, Matthew (West).
