In 'Pale Rider' (1985) a community of gold mining prospectors comes under attack from a gang of marauders, who are after the prospectors' land. Young Megan Wheeler (Sydney Penny) prays for help, which consequently arrives in the form of The Preacher (Eastwood), a grim, silent stranger who takes up the community's cause, and sets out to repel the invaders. In 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' (1976) Eastwood stars in the title role as a peaceful farmer at the time of the American Civil War who becomes a Confederate outlaw in order to avenge his family's death at the hands of Union guerrillas. His obsession with revenge slowly lifts however, as he picks up various outcasts in the wilderness and attempts to lead them to a safe haven where they can rebuild their lives. Finally, in 'Unforgiven' (1992), set in 1880s Kansas, ageing gunslinger-turned-farmer William Munny (Eastwood) reluctantly agrees to come out of retirement to collect the bounty on a wanted cowboy with the help of his old friend Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman). The man in question attacked a prostitute in a lawless town lorded over by the corrupt Sheriff Daggett (Gene Hackman), and if Munny and Logan want to catch him they are going to have to deal with Daggett first.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

Upon arrival, they find the election campaign in full swing with Sheriff Wyatt standing as a candidate. But the powerful gang of cowboys in the Clanton family strongly object to his bid and the two warring factions decide to meet at the O.K. 'Captain Apache' (1971) tells the story of a Native American US army officer (Lee Van Cleef) who uncovers a plot to assassinate the president. 'Chino' (1973) is about a loner horse breeder (Charles Bronson) who reluctantly takes in a young runaway (Vincent Van Patten) and shows him how to raise, break and breed horses. In 'A Town Called Hell' (1971) a widow (Stella Stevens) takes revenge on a group of Mexican revolutionaries ten years after they murdered her husband. 'The Big Trees' (1952) tells the story of a callous lumber baron (Kirk Douglas) who tries to take command of a forest valley which is home to a community of Quakers. In 'Boot Hill' (1969) the victims of an overbearing town boss are aided by an unexpected band of gunmen and circus performers. 'Blood Money' (1974) tells the tale of a martial artist (Lieh Lo) who joins a gunfighter (Van Cleef) in his search for treasure. In 'The Lone Ranger' (1956) the eponymous hero (Clayton Moore) and his sidekick Tonto (Jay Silverheels) prevent Reece Kilmore (Lyle Bettger) from using sacred Native American land to mine silver.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

He plays the young leader of a pioneer wagon train travelling across the Oregon Trail. Repulsing Indian attacks and battling against the hostile elements, The Duke still finds time for romance with a fellow traveller (Marguerite Churchill). In 'The Comancheros (1961), Wayne stars as Texas Ranger Jake Cutter whose path crosses with that of professional gambler Paul Regret (Stuart Whitman). The two become uneasy bedfellows in their quest to crush a powerful outlaw gang who are selling arms and alcohol to the local Indians. This was director Michael Curtiz's last film and also stars Lee Marvin and Ina Balin. 'North to Alaska' (1960) is a lighthearted Western starring Wayne and Stewart Granger as rough and tumble gold prospectors in Alaska. When Sam McCord (Wayne) and George Pratt (Granger) eventually strike it rich in the gold rush, George sends Sam to Seattle to fetch his fiancée; but Sam falls in love with her. George eventually accepts his loss and sets about finding a new gal, but only seems to find trouble. In 'The Undefeated' (1969), Confederate Colonel James Langdon (Rock Hudson) prepares to travel to Mexico with his family. When they are attacked by bandits, Union Colonel J.H. Thomas (Wayne) comes to their aid. The former enemies find themselves united in their efforts to resist Mexican Emperor Maximillian, and Juarez, the rebel leader. When the rebels kidnap the Southerners, Colonel Thomas must decide whether to surrender his valuable herd of 3,000 horses and secure their release, or leave them to their fate.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>
