However, the methods Chris employs under the guise of civilising the woman are vicious and sadistic and keeping her captive could threaten the lives of his entire family. In the prequel 'Offspring' (2009), George Chandler (Art Hindle), the retired sheriff of a small coastal town in Maine, is called back into action after a series of grisly murders.
