During the third series, the emergence of a brutal serial killer offers Berthaud the chance to restore her reputation, but will her very determination to track down the killer lead her over the edge? In the fourth series, defence lawyer Joséphine Karlsson (Audrey Fleurot) risks all by attempting to defend the rights of a group of unwelcome immigrants. Meanwhile, Berthaud finds herself in the thick of the action when she is seconded to an anti-gang unit shadowing the activities of dissident students engaged in bomb-making. In the fifth series, Berthaud and her team are tasked with solving the double murder of a mother and daughter whose bodies are discovered in a canal. During their investigation they are led to a group of bank robbers while trying to search for missing members of the deceased's family. In the sixth series, after Berthaud returns to work early from maternity leave, she and her team are tasked with solving a murder case after an anonymous dismembered victim is discovered. In the seventh series, Gilou (Godard) and Berthaud reunite to investigate the murder of their former commissioner, Herville (Nicolas Briançon). Joined by Gilou's new partner Ali (Tewfik Jallab), the team find themselves on the trail of a teenage gang member which leads them to uncover an expansive money laundering operation. In the eighth series, a murder investigation into the death of a young Moroccan boy results in Berthaud and her team dealing closing in on a network of drug-smuggling. Gilou is freed from prison however his strict parole conditions place limits on his ability to assist. 'A Tale of Springtime' (1989) is the story of a friendship between a high school philosophy teacher and a music student. Caught between apartments, philosophy teacher Jeanne (Anne Teyssedre) attends a party, where a young girl, Natasha (Florence Darel), invites her to stay at the flat she shares with her father, Igor (Hugues Quester). Presently Jeanne finds herself witness to, then participating in, recriminatory scenes between daughter, father and his youthful lover, Eve (Eloise Bennett): jealous Natasha detests Eve, accusing her of theft, while Igor seems more than willing to be left with Jeanne. Rohmer examines the hidden motives and analyses the consequences of their actions, finding nobody wholly innocent. In 'A Winter's Tale' (1992), Parisian hairdresser Felicie (Charlotte Very) has a wonderful holiday romance with a man called Charles (Frédéric Van Den Driessche) in Brittany. She discovers she is pregnant but, through a mix-up over addresses, she loses contact with her lover. As her daughter grows up she finds it impossible to settle with another man, although she wavers between two suitors, and daydreams of Charles finding them again. In 'A Summer's Tale' (1996), Gaspard (Melvil Poupard), a bored young man on holiday in Brittany, is invited to a party by Margot (Amanda Langlet) while he is waiting for his classmate Lena (Aurelia Nolin), with whom he believes he is in love. At Margot's party Gaspard meets another girl, Solène (Gwenaelle Simon), who is also attracted to him. When Lena arrives too, Gaspard is forced to choose between the three girls. In the fourth and final instalment, 'An Autumn Tale' (1998), happily-married Rhone Valley wine-grower Isabelle (Marie Rivière) wants to see her widowed friend Magali (Béatrice Romand) matched up. To this end, she secretly places a lonely hearts ad in a paper on Magali's behalf and chooses a man for her. Misunderstandings ensue, however, when Magali sees Isabelle acting suspiciously with a mystery guest at her daughter's wedding. After a string of casual affairs, Nina meets shy estate agent Paulot (Wadeck Stanczak), although she finds herself more drawn to his flatmate Quentin (Lambert Wilson), an emotionally disturbed actor who earns a living performing in live sex shows. As the three characters deal with their shifting relationships, a theatre director arrives on the scene and starts to take a great interest in Nina, personally and professionally.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Based on a true story, the film follows Benedetta as she embarks on an illicit love affair with new arrival Bartolomea (Daphne Patakia), a peasant who seeks refuge in the Tuscan convent after fleeing her abusive family. Meanwhile, the devout nun attracts the ire of her fellow Theatine sisters for her claims of saintliness and visions of Christ.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In a luxury hotel somewhere in Europe, an unnamed man (Giorgio Albertazzi) attempts to persuade one of his fellow guests, a similarly unnamed married woman (Delphine Seyrig), that they have not only previously met, but that they had an affair and made plans to elope together. The woman, however, does not appear to recognise him and does her best to rebuff his advances. In a WWI German prisoner-of-war camp, three French soldiers, working-class Lieutenant Maréchal (Jean Gabin), middle-class Jew Rosenthal (Marcel Dalio) and aristocratic senior officer Captain de Boieldieu (Pierre Fresnay), are held prisoner by Commandant von Rauffenstein (Erich von Stroheim). A bond of sympathy develops between the German Commandant and the senior French officer, but even though de Boieldieu sacrifices himself for his compatriots to escape, the pair must return to a harsh reality once their role as war heroes is over.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / 75th Anniversary Edition</i>

A woman (Amira Casar) goes into the toilets of a gay nightclub and attempts suicide by cutting her wrists. She is rescued from her fate by a gay man (Rocco Siffredi) who takes her to a pharmacy and sees that she is bandaged up. When he takes the woman back to her apartment, she makes an offer to the man: if he will watch her, simply watch her, for four nights, she will pay him for the task. As if to prove her belief that men - and especially gay men - hate and fear women, she sets out to disgust him with her body and her sexuality.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
