When a series of murders are committed in Tokyo, a distinguishing mark connects them all: a bloody 'X' carved into the neck of each victim. In each case the murderer is found near the scene of the crime with no memory of committing it. The perpetrators are revealed to be ordinary citizens who all interacted with the same mysterious man shortly before inexplicably killing someone. Luffy (voice of Mayumi Tanaka) and his Straw Hat pirate crew. In 'One Piece: The Movie' (2000) the Straw Hats encounter a pirate captain named El Drago (Kenji Utsumi) who is hunting the legendary treasure hoard gathered by the mythical Woonan. El Drago scatters Luffy and his crew and presses on with his hunt, and so the Straw Hat pirates must regroup and find their own way to the island where the treasure is hidden if they wish to take it for themselves. In 'The Adventure of Spiral Island' (2001) the Straw Hat crew must fight their way up Spiral Island to reclaim their ship, the Going Merry, from the devious siblings who have stolen it. In 'Chopper's Kingdom in the Strange Animal Island' (2002) the crew finds Crown Island and the talking animals which inhabit it. These animals make Chopper (Ikue Ootani) their king, but there are other people on the island who endanger this animal kingdom in their hunt for the legendary horns they think will grant them great power.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

But there is a shady character behind this competition, an ex-military commander in fact, whose plan is to lure all the pirates drawn by the competition into military waters and destroy them. The Straw Hats will need all their skill and ingenuity to escape with their lives, and maybe even the reward. In 'The Cursed Holy Sword' (2004) the crew explore an island for a legendary sword of extreme value, but before they can make off with the loot there are marines, distractions and even betrayal to contend with. In 'Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island' (2005) the Straw Hats travel to a recreational island for some relaxation. But once there, not only are the crew asked to engage in competition to win their peace and quiet, but the island begins to have a mysterious effect on the pirates, turning them against one another.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

When two truck drivers, Goro (Tsutomu Yamazaki) and Gun (Ken Watanabe), stop at a noodle shop, they witness a young boy being beaten up and step in to help. When they discover that the boy is the son of the shop's owner Tampopo (Nobuko Miyamoto), they also learn that her business is struggling and try to think of ways to help her out. As they put their heads together, they come up with a plan to turn Tampopo's diner into a workshop providing lessons on how to make the perfect noodle soup.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Restored</i>

Country girl Akiko (Dôguchi) travels to Tokyo in search of Yoshioka (Kensô Katô), the boy she loves. However, she soon discovers that he hasn't attended university in weeks and proceeds to encounters a series of strange, sex-obsessed individuals on the campus. She tells him that she is fleeing from her abusive husband but as the two of them grow closer, he comes to believe that she is keeping secrets from him. With schoolchildren all over the country growing increasingly delinquent, the totalitarian government takes decisive action and introduces the Battle Royale Act. The Act sets forth a plan whereby a class will be chosen at random and flown to a remote island where each student will then be given a weapon and set loose to fight their classmates, all the while knowing that only one of their number will be allowed to leave the island alive.
