When they discover that the boy is the son of the shop's owner Tampopo (Nobuko Miyamoto), they also learn that her business is struggling and try to think of ways to help her out. Meanwhile, Rokurota Makabe (Mifune), a renowed Akizuki general, is attempting to escort Princess Yuki (Misa Uehara) to safety. When he encounters the two peasants, he realises they may be useful to him but as the four of them travel together, they face many challenges and Tahei and Matashichi's cowardice and greed could jeopardise Makabe's mission. He stays with a farmer and his family and trains with the farmer's teenaged son Ichisuke (Ryûsei Maeda), until Sawamura (Tsukamoto), an elderly samurai, arrives hoping to recruit him. Meanwhile, a group of bandits threaten the peaceful village and chaos and violence ensue when Mokunoshin, who has never killed anyone before, is uncertain if he can take a life even in defence of those he seeks to protect.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>
