Närvaron blir total på grund av extremt väl genomförda praktiska effekter vilka frammanar bilder av artärfontäner och lemlästningar som inte kommer lämna tittarnas minne i första taget.

Beginning in 2001, the film follows the relationship of gangster Bin (Liao) and his girlfriend Qiao (Zhao). When Bin's life is threatened by members of a rival young gang, Qiao intervenes and is sentenced to five years in jail for her part in the confrontation. When she is released, she goes looking for Bin and eventually finds him in the city of Fengjie, where he lives a peaceful life having turned his back on his criminal past, but will Qiao choose to join him?<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

The only obstacle in his path is his brother's son, Prince Wuluan (Daniel Wu), a melancholy youngster who harbours a sexual longing for his stepmother and has consequently exiled himself to a colony in the wilderness. When the new emperor's ninja assassins reach the colony the prince barely escapes with his life. Returning to the palace, he is at once embroiled in schemes, counterschemes and suspect declarations of love. In frustration, the Emperor orders the Imperial doctor (Ni Dahong) to secretly drug the Empress and render her insane. But the situation is further complicated by the doctor's daughter, with whom the Crown Prince secretly wishes to elope.
