Almost five decades ago, the toll of a bell and rolling thunder marked the conception of an ear splittingly monolithic riff. In that moment, Black Sabbath and the sound of Heavy Metal were forged. The band embarked on what Ozzy describes as "the most incredible adventure you could think of", a journey that would go on to define a genre.<br/><br/>The End is a celebration of Black Sabbath's final hometown concert at Birmingham's Genting Arena on 4th February, 2017. <br/><br/>With a hit packed set list including Iron Man, Paranoid, War Pigs and many more, the high production values, visual effects and pyrotechnics wowed fans, as the band delivered the most emotionally charged show in their history.<br/><br/>The End captures a once-in-a-career performance, an essential snapshot of musical history and a fitting farewell to true innovators and original heavy metal icons, Black Sabbath.

Fantastisk konsert från boogierockveteranerna Status Quo, inspelad i London 2016.<br/><br/>Tanken var att Status, efter 2016 års konsertturné, skulle lägga elgitarrerna på hyllan, till förmån för ett mer akustiskt sound. Det blev dock en allvarlig smolk i bägaren att gitarristen Rick Parfitts sjukdom hindrade honom från att vara med på stora delar av turnén. Parfitt gick bort på julafton 2016, men inte förrän han hade fått sin gamle vapendragare Francis Rossi att lova att fortsätta hålla Status Quos arv vid liv, och att fortsätta släppa musik.

Neil Young opens his archive and release Hitchhiker, an unreleased new studio album. The 10-track acoustic solo album was recorded in Malibu, CA at Indigo Studio in 1976. The original session was produced by Young's long-time studio collaborator David Briggs.<br/> <br/>Recorded between Zuma and American Stars and Bars as a solo album in a single session, the resultant performances are truly breathtaking and passionate. The simplicity of a single voice and guitar captured here is as pure and powerful as it gets, with only Young, Briggs and actor Dean Stockwell in the room at the time of recording. A few of the songs would not appear on vinyl until years later. Some have never been heard, included in the original sessions for Neil Young and Crazy Horse's Dume, another unreleased record of original sessions that yielded the classic album, Zuma. When the Hitchhiker album was recorded, none of the included songs had ever been released and many of the performances of the songs were the first ever. This is truly an album of original performances.
