Det är otroligt att tänka tanken att Metallicas självbetitlade album (i folkmun känt som "The Black Album") har 30 år på nacken. Men det har det, och här är en remastrad version. Detta var bandets femte album och de gick från att vara hjältar i underground-scenen till att bli världens största hårdrocksband.<br/><br/>Albumet "Metallica" inkluderar singlar som "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters", "Sad But True" och "Wherever I May Roam" och har sålt i över 35 miljoner exemplar.<br/><br/>2LP - remastrad version som släpps på 180 g vinyl i gatefold-förpackning.

1967-1974 is a 10CD box set that celebrates 50 years since the eponymous debut album of British blues/rock band Ten Years After. This collection gathers long-players from the Chrysalis and Deram eras and includes eight studio albums, one live album and a bonus disc of never before heard recordings from 1972 called The Cap Ferrat Sessions, which has been newly mixed by Chris Kimsey. All the albums have been remastered from the original quarter-inch production master tapes. <br/><br/>The unreleased - The Cap Ferrat Sessions - exists thanks to Alvin Lee's widow, who discovered a box of recordings in their house in Spain. Chris Kimsey recorded and engineered the original recordings during The Rock N Roll Music To The World album sessions. Kimsey: These re-discovered recordings were not rough demos, not rehearsals, but completed masters that did not make the album due to the time limitations of vinyl at the time. <br/><br/>This is a revised package of the previously available, but sold out, book version comes in a clamshell case with a perfect bound booklet featuring extensive sleeve notes by Chris Welch and interviews with the remaining band members, Alvin Lee's family, as well as additional recording notes by Kimsey. The 10CDs are housed in individual album CD wallets.

The fourth installment in Neil Young's Official Release Series (ORS): a box set that includes his classic '80s records Hawks & Doves, Reoacotor, and This Note's for You, as well as his Eldorado EP, previously released only in Japan and Australia. <br/><br/>The ORS Vol 4 collects an eclectic set of decade-spanning sounds. Hawks & Doves (1980) revisits his folk roots and explores some of his most country-leaning offerings; the blistering Reoacotor (1981) showcases a stomping set of heavy, overdriven rock with Crazy Horse; and This Note's for You (1988) casts Young as a big band leader, belting out intricately arranged blues. The Eldorado EP (1989) is full of feral distortion and earthy crunch featuring Young backed by The Restless (Chad Cromwell and Rick Rosas). It includes two thundering tracks - "Cocaine Eyes" and "Heavy Love"- not available on any other album.
