Paavo Järvi och Estonian Festival Orchestra hyllar Arvo Pärt, som nyligen fyllde 90 år. Familjen Järvis historia är intimt knuten till Pärts verk, eftersom det var den nu legendariska konserten där Neeme Järvi - Paavos far - dirigerade Pärts Credo 1968 som fick Sovjetregimen att svartlista Järvifamiljen vilket gjorde att de tvingades lämna Estland.

Höör Barock har hyllats för sin virtuositet, känslighet, stilistiska briljans och glädjefyllda, lekfulla förhållningssätt till framförandet. Ensemblen vann en Grammis 2020 tillsammans med Dan Laurin. På Vivaldi in the North blomstrar deras temperament och musikalitet i Antonio Vivaldis vackra och livfulla musik, i solokonserter och kammarmusik med varierande stämningar och karaktärer. Solister är blockflöjtisten Emelie Roos, barockviolinisten Hannah Tibell och lutspelaren Dohyo Sol.

Nils Landgren står i centrum i Sonnets of Darkness and Love, tonsättaren Sven-David Sandströms sista verk. Inspirerad av Shakespeare, Lorca och Nietzsche återuppväcktes verket av Sveriges Radio efter att premiären först hade skjutits upp. Denna inspelning fångar Landgrens djupt uttrycksfulla tolkning och hedrar Sandströms arv med svävande trombonlinjer och mäktiga klanger av Radiokören.

Luminal and Lateral will be released together. Offering a flavour of the forthcoming project, two songs - "Suddenly" and "Big Empty Country (Edit)," from Luminal and Lateral respectively, have also been made public today. Luminal is Dream music. Lateral is Space music. Nobody expected this music from these two artists. They didn't even expect it themselves. <br/> <br/>Eno and Wolfe first met through their environmental work when they gave a SXSW featured talk on 'Art and Climate'. The talk was recently selected as one of the festival's best in 25 years. <br/>The pair then met again when they were each showing their visual and conceptual art pieces at separate galleries in London. Their musical collaboration grew out of those meetings.<br/> <br/>Reflecting on their collaboration on this project, which was recorded sporadically by the pair through 2024, Brian and Beatie said:<br/> <br/>"Music is about making feelings happen. Some of those feelings are familiar, while others may not be - or may be complex mixtures of several different feelings. There are many beautiful words for such feelings in other languages and cultures - words that don't exist in English. By giving a feeling a name, we make that feeling more likely to be felt, more tangible. Art is able to trigger feelings, or feeling mixtures, that we've never quite felt before. In this way, a piece of Art can become the 'mother' for a type of feeling, and a place you can go to find and re-experience that feeling. Den svenske violinisten Johannes Marmén bildade "sin" kvartett 2013 då han studerade vid Royal College of Music i London. Sex år senare vann de första pris vid två olika internationella tävlingar för stråkkvartetter, i Frankrike respektive Kanada. Nu släpper de sitt debutalbum på BIS, med stråkkvartetter av György Ligeti och Béla Bartók.<br/><br/> Högsta betyg till Marmen Quartet i Musikrevyn i P2!<br/>"En otroligt fin skiva.
