Det är deras mest ambitiösa och episka release någonsin. Albumet består av 13 låtar och är 75 minuter långt. Albumet gästas av Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams, Julian Casablancas, Giorgio Moroder och Animal Collective's Panda med flera.

Bon Iver - musikprojektet som leds av Justin Vernon - med sitt tredje studioalbum '22, A Million'. "22, A Million" är dels ett kärleksbrev; dels ett avslut på ett två decennium långt sökande efter självförståelse likt en religion - och möjligheten av att aldrig hitta denna självförståelse. Albumet innehåller 10 inspelningar som tillsammans bildar en samling av en rad heliga stunder: kärlekens tortyr och frälsning, ett sammanhang av intensiva minnen, tecken som har betydelse eller som kan klassificeras som sammanträffanden och därför bör ignoreras. Större delen av albumet spelades in och producerades i April Base Studios i Fall Creek, Wisconsin. Samt även i London, England och strax utanför Lissabon, Portugal.
