Private Mizushima (Shôji Yasui) is the harp player for Captain Inouye (Rentarô Mikuni)'s regiment. They have been fighting in Burma but when they come across a group of British soldiers, they learn that Japan has surrended and the war is over. A small band of Japanese soldiers are fighting nearby and a British captain asks Mizushima if he can convince them to surrender and save their lives. However, they refuse his entreaties and are killed in the ensuing attack. In the aftermath, Mizushima disguises himself as a Buddhist monk and embarks on a journey to promote peace whilst also burying the dead Japanese soldiers he encounters as he travels. After attacking Tokyo, Godzilla is imprisoned in a mountain and various international factions compete to possess the monster's cells for the purposes of experimentation. Scientist Genshiro Shiragami (Kôji Takahashi) is hoping to genetically modify plants using Godzilla's cells but when mercenaries attack his lab, his daughter Erika (Yasuko Sawaguchi) is killed. Overcome with grief, Shiragami combines cells from Godzilla with those from a rose and from Erika and creates a hybrid he names Biollante. Martial arts action feature starring Jackie Chan. When his master is murdered, student Tang How-Yuen (Chan) sets out for revenge. Travelling to the village of the murderer with his master's widow and daughter in tow, Yeun discovers that the killer has been overcome with guilt, to the point of self-mutilation.<br/><br/>Abased before the widow, he confesses and begs for forgiveness. Meanwhile Yeun, whose reputation as a kung fu master precedes him, has been drawn to the attention of a local warlord, who controls the supply of a drug that can save the young widow from a deadly condition, forcing Yeun to reconsider the warlord's offer to work for him.

In 'Yojimbo' (1961) wandering samurai Sanjuro Kuwabatake (Mifune) arrives in a rural town in 19th century Japan which is overrun with criminals and is being fought over by two rival gangs. Determined to free the townsfolk from the oppressive grip of the gangsters, Sanjuro sparks open war between the two sides in the hope that they will destroy each other. However, his plans are complicated by the arrival of Unosuke (Tatsuya Nakadai), the younger brother of one of the gang leaders who prefers guns to swords and upsets the balance of power in the town. In the sequel 'Sanjuro' (1962) Sanjuro Tsubaki encounters a clan of samurai who have been betrayed by the local superintendent. They had intended to present a formal accusation of corruption within their clan but would have been crushed by the superintendent's men had Sanjuro not defended them. Sanjuro soon finds himself embroiled in a plot to kidnap the local chamberlain and facilitate a power grab by the superintendent, but jaded as he is, Sanjuro feels he must also object to the behaviour of his fellow samurai.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / 4K Ultra HD (Restored)</i>

His brother Tobei (Sakae Ozawa), who dreams of becoming a samurai, also leaves his wife Ohama (Mitsuko Mito) and accompanies Genjuro.
