When a series of murders are committed in Tokyo, a distinguishing mark connects them all: a bloody 'X' carved into the neck of each victim. In each case the murderer is found near the scene of the crime with no memory of committing it. The perpetrators are revealed to be ordinary citizens who all interacted with the same mysterious man shortly before inexplicably killing someone. Leo (Andy Lau) and Jin (Takeshi Kaneshiro) have been given the task of locating the leaders of a revolutionary faction known as the Flying Daggers. Jin arrives in disguise at a brothel where the members are allegedly working and is introduced to a beautiful blind dancer named Mei (Ziyi Zhang). However, when Jin drunkenly attempts to assault her, Leo is forced to intervene and, after gaining her trust, arrests her and informs her that she'll be tortured if she doesn't tell them everything she knows about the Flying Daggers.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

In 'Barking Dogs Never Bite' (2000) unemployed academic Ko Yun-ju (Sung-jae Lee) becomes agitated by his neighbour's dog and decides to take drastic action to silence it. Meanwhile, Park Hyun-nam (Doona Bae) begins investigating when a number of canines are reported missing by residents of her apartment complex. In 'Memories of Murder' (2003), set in 1986 in a small town in Gyeonggi Province, Detective Park Doo-man (Kang-ho Song) and his partner, Detective Cho Yong-koo (Roe-ha Kim), investigate the brutal rape and murder of two women discovered in a ditch. They are aided in their investigation by Seoul detective Seo Tae-yoon (Sang-Kyung Kim), whose methods clash with Park's. When another body is discovered it becomes apparent the detectives are searching for an elusive serial killer, and they find themselves investigating the deaths of ten women over the course of six years. 'The Host' (2006) follows snack bar owner Gang-du Park (Song) and his family as they are forced to fight back against a mysterious monster which emerges from the Han River in Seoul. Fearing the worst after his daughter Hyun-seo (Ko Asung) is captured and carried away by the unidentified creature, Gang-du is left shocked when he receives a phone call from her explaining she is being held captive by the monster deep in the sewers. Spurred on by Hyun-seo's unexpected call, Gang-du gathers together the remaining members of his family and bravely sets off into the sewers in a bid to rescue her. In 'Mother' (2009), in a remote village in South Korea, a lonely single mother looks after her mentally handicapped son Do-jun (Weon Bin) while scraping a living as an acupuncturist. But her simple, poverty-stricken life is suddenly plunged into chaos when her son is arrested for the brutal murder of a local schoolgirl. Convinced that he has been set up, the mother sets out to prove her son's innocence to the police, who seem more interested in closing the case than in researching other possible leads. In 'Snowpiercer' (2013), following a failed attempt to halt global warming that sparked a new ice age in 2014, the last humans on Earth circumnavigate the globe aboard the Snowpiercer train. 17 years on, with the train rigidly divided by class, the poor inhabitants of the train's tail section, led by Curtis (Chris Evans), decide to rebel and demand better treatment and living conditions. After freeing security expert Namgoong (Song) and his daughter Yona (Asung), the band of rebels make their way to the front of the train in search of its creator, Wilford (Ed Harris). Finally, in 'Parasite' (2019) Kim Ki-taek (Song) sees a way out of his struggling family's poverty when he is employed by the wealthy Park family to tutor their daughter Da-hye (Ji-so Jung). He quickly ingratiates himself with the Park family and convinces them to employ the rest of his impoverished family disguised as his acquaintances. However, their scheme to infiltrate the Park family's lavish life soon turns awry when their true identities come under scrutiny. <b>OBS! Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Ryûsuke Hamaguchi writes and directs this Japanese drama starring Hitoshi Omika, Rei Nishikawa and Ryûji Kosaka. Takumi (Omika) and his young daughter Hana (Nishikawa) live in the rural village of Harasawa where they enjoy the abundance of wildlife and peaceful landscape which surrounds their community. A Tokyo developer, however, is planning to build on the nearby area of land where deer roam freely, constructing a glamping site in its place. To preserve the natural environment, Takumi and his neighbours must act quickly if they are to prevent its destruction.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / with DVD - Double Play</i>

Ett muterat virus gör smittade invånare i Taipei till bindgalna, blodtörstiga varelser som mördar helt utan hämningar och misskund. Fast på motsatta sidor av staden när det groteska blodbadet tar sin början försöker det unga paret Kat och Jim att hitta varandra i det fruktansvärda kaoset. Men hur ska de klara det när vardagens gator blivit ett helvete på jorden och en mentalt förvrängd pöbel som lever ut sina sjukaste fantasier på alla de får tag i står mellan dem och återförening?<br/><br/>Debuterade regissören Rob Jabbaz låter sina karaktärer och publiken löpa ett riktigt brutalt gatlopp genom scener som hela tiden höjer insatserna och våldsnivån. Allt byggs upp mot ett blodigt crescendo då inga mörka scenarier lämnats orealiserade i en film som fått även de mest härdade splatterfans att rygga tillbaka. Närvaron blir total på grund av extremt väl genomförda praktiska effekter vilka frammanar bilder av artärfontäner och lemlästningar som inte kommer lämna tittarnas minne i första taget.

När Takashi Miike släppte loss AUDITION i slutet av förra seklet var publiken totalt oförberedd. Från filmfestivalen i Rotterdam rapporterades om ett lämmeltåg av chockade åskådare som lämnade bion innan filmen var slut (och då missade de ändå det värsta!). Med ens hade en helt ny genre fötts, döpt av en sur kritiker till "torture porn", som ynglade av sig i extremskräck som Saw, Hostel och Miikes egen Ichi the Killer. På tidningarnas Bästa skräckfilms-listor ligger AUDITION ofta högt och bland fansen finns regissörer som Quentin Tarantino, Eli Roth och Rob Zombie.<br/><br/>AUDITION är historien om änklingen Shigeharu. För att hjälpa honom att hitta en ny hustru anordnar hans omoraliske vän, filmproducenten Yasuhisa, en fejkad audition. Bland alla vackra kvinnor faller Shigeharu för den mystiska och tystlåtna Asami, en före detta ballerina med oklart förflutet. Hennes sätt att underkasta sig Shigeharu gör honom förtjust. Men det är bara ett spel. Snart kommer Asami visa sitt rätta jag, och det är ingen vacker syn...

As he investigates further, he finds evidence of a sinister conspiracy and institutional corruption but will he be able to save Ma Ka-kit?
