FRÅN METALLICAS HEMSIDA:<br/><br/>This release is a first for us... yes boys and girls, the DVD and Blu-ray will be come out on our very own label in North America! There are still some "i's" being dotted and "t's crossed, so we can't give you a name or fancy logo just yet, but we're pretty excited that for the first time we get to hold all the reins on a release from start to finish. Since we now get to call all the shots, the double DVD and single disc Blu-ray.<br/><br/>Just in case you missed the first story, the DVD was shot by our long time cohort Wayne Isham, capturing the two World Magnetic shows in Quebec City in the fall of 2009. You were kind enough to help us select the set list by voting here on this site, choosing the songs played in setlist number two as the main program. All the songs played at those two shows will be included on the DVD/Blu-ray.

Ian Gillan är en sann legendar. Som Deep Purples röst har han trollbundit sina fans i över 50 år. Gillan har också haft en framgångsrik solokarriär. Efter att Purple hade släppt "Now What?!" åkte Ian Gillan ut på en turné i östeuropa. Tanken var att han hade med sig ett band, bestående av bl a Don Airey (Deep Purple) och Simon McBride, men att de sedan varje kväll skulle ackompanjeras av en lokal orkester. Resultatet spelades in och släpps nu på tre format, med olika konserter på varje: 2CD - inspelad i Wazawa, Blu-ray - inspelad i Moskva, 3LP - inspelad i St. Petersburg. Gillan framför både låtar ur sin soloreportoar och även några handplockade Deep Purple klassiker som "Strange Kinda Woman", "Lazy", "Perfect Strangers" och "Smoke On The Water".

Hårdrockens egen operadiva, Tarja Turunen, är tillbaka med ett unikt livealbum. Tarja gjorde sig ett namn bland rockfans världen över som sångerska i finska Nightwish. Tarja är numera sedan<br/>länge en framgångsrik soloartist. <br/><br/>Denna live spelades in i Bukarest strax innan pandemin slog till. I en intim teater med scenen mitt på det runda golvet får vi avnjuta Tarja som tillsammans med hela sexton musiker framför alla sina hits, bland annat "I Walk Alone", "Until My Last Breath" och "Innocence". Ett antal gästmusiker dyker upp, bland andra Tarjas bror som också är sångare. Detta är inte en hårt korograferad konsert med hundra klädbyten utan fokus ligger på musikerna och samspelet.

Metallica and San Francisco Symphony's September 6 & 8, 2019 S&M2 concerts were historic on multiple levels: They served as the grand opening of San Francisco's Chase Center, reunited the band and Symphony for the first time since the 1999 performances captured on the Grammy-winning S&M album, and featured the first-ever symphonic renditions of songs written and released since those original S&M shows.<br/><br/>The sold out shows were rapturously received by the 40,000 fans who traveled from nearly 70 countries, as well as the media: Rolling Stone raved "the group proved that anything was possible," Variety noted an atmosphere "buzzing with excitement," while the Mercury News witnessed "a concert that fans will be talking about for decades to come," and Consequence of Sound hailed "a true celebration of Metallica and their musical prowess." <br/><br/>S&M2 is a landmark release in the Metallica catalogue, both sonically and visually. Produced by Greg Fidelman with James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, the S&M2 live album captures more than two and a half hours of James, Lars, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo joining forces with the nearly 80-strong SF Symphony, legendary Musical Director of the orchestra Michael Tilson Thomas, and conductor Edwin Outwater. The concert film is a brand-new edit done by Joe Hutching (Through The Never) and both the audio and visuals have been taken to the next level from the October 2019 theatrical version that played in over 3,700 cinemas worldwide.
