I love the energy of working with new people and Alissa has certainly brought a lot of talent and enthusiasm to the band!"<br/><br/>When Amott recruited Angela Gossow to front Arch Enemy for the Wages of Sin effort, he changed extreme metal forever. With White-Gluz, he has a new weapon. She's a vertiable firebrand on War Eternal, her unrelenting roar, cruel rasp, and unique looks the mark of a woman ready to conquer the world. "My goal is to keep Arch Enemy alive and thriving!" White-Gluz exclaims. <br/><br/>ARCH ENEMY presents a live DVD, As The Stages Burn!, of their largest stage production to date from their performance last summer at the WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival in Germany. This performance marks the pinnacle of a highly successful album campaign in support of War Eternal. It all began in March of 2014 when the band announced new vocalist Alissa White-Gluz as well as the video for the album title track, "War Eternal". This debut track went on to become the bands most successful video in their career, surpassing 20 million views on YouTube. The release of the War Eternal album also saw ARCH ENEMY reaching their highest US and German chart positions to date while going on to play over 200 shows in over 40 countries around the world. In late 2014, Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) joined ARCH ENEMY during the world tour with Kreator and in 2015 they played arenas as direct support for Nightwish.

Fortune hade som så många hårdrocksband otur i slutet på 80-talet och början på 90-talet. Efter att deras hyllade debut släpptes 1985 gick deras skivbolag i konkurs, och bröderna Richard och Mick Fortune (gitarr respektive trummor) kämpade länge med att få loss mastertejperna till albumet. Detta blev en utdragen tvist som fick sin lösning först 2004. Förra året släppte de så sin andra platta "II" och åkte då till Frontiers Rock Festival i Milano för en konsert, det är också där den här liven är inspelad. Vissa band skapar ett sound som är så eget att de får en hel genre uppkallad efter sig. Gamma Ray och Helloween är ett sådana band. Power metal hade aldrig låtit som den gör utan Kai Hansen som var med och grundade Helloween och ett par år senare bildade Gamma Ray. Idag är cirkeln sluten och Hansen är tillbaka i Helloween, men han håller också fortfarande liv i Gamma Ray.<br/><br/>Här kommer en livekonsert som spelades in 2020, för att fira bandets 30 år. På grund av pandemin framfördes denna konsert utan fysisk publik, dock är fansen med digitalt via en livestream. De fick också i efterhand skicka in filmer där de diggar och dessa har klippts in i<br/>själva konserten.
