Returning to a heavier, more aggressive sound, in 1975 Black Sabbath delivered their sixth classic album in a row. Taking almost a year to complete, Sabotage is Black Sabbath at their best and possibly their most musically experimental. Brought up to date for 2021 is the original album newly remastered as well as a full concert recorded on the 1975 Sabotage Tour of North America. In addition to a selection of tracks from Sabotage, this live album includes the Black Sabbath classics War Pigs, Iron Man and Paranoid. In 1976 the seminal line-up of Motorhead was solidified a year after the band's initial inception. The 'three amigos' era of Motorhead; Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil 'Philthy Animal' Taylor joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to the top of the hard rock elite. <br/> <br/>In August 1976 the band set up at Emerson, Lake & Palmer's legendary Manticore Studio in Fulham to rehearse and showcase the new lineup. While they were there they recorded together for the very first time and now 49 years later, the long lost tape has been discovered, dusted off and restored in all it's raw glory, to celebrate the bands 50th anniversary.<br/><br/>Additionally the deluxe bookpack comes with an extra bonus LP - the classic bonus Live: Blitzkrieg on Birmingham '77 as well as a bonus 7" featuring two previously unreleased tracks live at Barbarellas Birmingham in 1977. There's also a 24 page booklet with liner notes from long-time collaborator Kris Needs.

The artwork for the album has been updated for this Anniversary Edition. The cover is printed on special silver coated paper stock. <br/><br/>The set also includes a 7" single in a picture sleeve with two versions of album outtake "Wonderin'." Side A, originally included in The Archives Vol. 1: 1963-1972, was recorded in Topanga, California, in March 1970, and Side B is a previously unreleased version recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood in August 1969. A litho print of the album's front cover is exclusively included in this vinyl box set.
