AC/DC är ett hårdrocksband från Sydney, Australien, som bildades i november 1973 av Angus Young och Malcom Young. Namnet kommer från AC/DC = Alternate Current/Direct Current (växelström/likström). Vissa menar att AC/DC var pionjärer inom hårdrocken, medan andra menar att musiken snarare bör klassas som rock 'n' roll. Deras album har sålt över 150 miljoner exemplar och räknas därmed som det näst mest framgångsrika hårdrocksbandet, med låtar som Hell's Bells, Back in Black, Highway to Hell, T.N.T. och Thunderstruck.
