They've already gone further than anybody could have guessed". I april 2008 gick Kings of Leon tillbaka in i Nashville's Blackbird Studio för att spela in "Only by the night". Albumet plockar upp trådarna från var "Because of the times" slutade, Kings of Leon fortsätter att tänja på gränserna i deras musik och markerar sin status som ett rockband i världsklass.
