Marley Bob
Bob Marley, eg. Robert Nesta Marley, född 6 februari 1945 i Nine Miles, St Ann, Jamaica, död 11 maj 1981 i Miami, Florida, USA, var en jamaicansk sångare, gitarrist och låtskrivare. Bob Marley var en av de stora profilerna inom reggaemusiken, och han bidrog i stor utsträckning till att göra musikstilen känd över världen.
Några av hans mest välkända låtar är "No Woman No Cry", "One Love", "I Shot the Sheriff", "IKaya" , "Is This Love", "Exodus", three Little Birds "Jammin", "Get Up Stand Up", "Stir It Up" och "Trenchtown Rock", samt efter hans död "Buffalo Soldier" och "Iron Lion Zion" Bob Marley har genom sin musik, sitt budskap och sitt liv haft ett enormt inflytande, inte bara på reggaemusiken utan även på artister inom andra musikstilar. Under åren har många artister tolkat Bob Marleys låtar, till exempel Johnny Nash med "Stir It Up" 1972, och Eric Clapton med "I Shot The Sheriff" 1974, vilka båda blev hits.[1] Marley har spelat in avsevärt mycket mer pengar efter sin död än medan han var i livet.
