Motorhead
Motörhead är en brittisk heavy metal-grupp, bildad i London 1975.
Bandet bestod ursprungligen av sångaren och basisten Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, Larry Wallis på gitarr och Lucas Fox på trummor.
När Motörhead gav ut sitt första album 1977 var Wallis och Fox redan ersatta av Eddie Clarke ("Fast Eddie") och Phil Taylor ("Philthy Animal"), men det var inte förrän i början av 1980-talet som gruppen slog igenom stort. Motörhead var mest populära i sitt hemland, England. 1982 lämnade Clarke gruppen på grund av stridigheter med Lemmy, och ersattes av Brian Robertson, som tidigare spelat i bland annat Thin Lizzy. 1983 gav Motörhead ut den enda studioplattan där Robertson medverkar, Another Perfect Day. Robertson lämnade bandet strax därefter och ersattes av två gitarrister; Phil Campbell och "Wurzel". I samma veva försvann Phil Taylor från trumpallen och ersattes av Pete Gill från gruppen Saxon. Det enda albumet som Pete Gill medverkade på var Orgasmatron 1986, sedan kom Phil Taylor tillbaka för ett par album.
1991 gavs den sista plattan med Phil Taylor som trummis ut, 1916. Därefter ersattes han av svensken Mikkey Dee, som än idag är Motörheads batterist. 1995 lämnade "Wurzel" bandet, och sedan dess har Motörhead åter varit en trio.
