The Wall är ett av världens mest hyllade konceptalbum genom tiderna, känt som Roger Waters rockopera om utsatthet och personlig isolering. Den unika designen är skapad av Gerald Scarfe, och från albumet kom Pink Floyds största hitsingel genom tiderna, Another Brick In The Wall Pt2. The Wall filmatiserades så småningom av Alan Parker med Bob Geldof i huvudrollen. <br/><br/>2011 års version innehåller originalalbumet digitalt remastrat av James Guthrie (medproducent på The Wall), och nydesignad digipack och CD-häfte av Storm Thorgerson.

The cover design, originally created by Storm Thorgerson and Peter Curzon for the 2006 DVD release, has also been updated with photography by Aubrey Powell/Hipgnosis and Rupert Truman/StormStudios. The packaging artwork is designed by Peter Curzon from StormStudios, under the direction of Aubrey Powell/Hignosis.<br/><br/>This release also sees the reintroduction of the iconic pulsating light as per the original 1995 CD release, this time operated by 2 replaceable AA batteries. The deluxe packages include music videos, concert screen films, documentaries, Pulse Tour rehearsal footage & more, alongside a 60-page booklet.

A new 2-LP vinyl edition of the album, remastered by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab from the original analogue tapes, including all the full length tracks (originally edited to fit on a single LP) in a gatefold sleeve designed by Hipgnosis/StormStudios.
