Så fort Iron Man nådde biograferna formligen rusade han uppför topplistorna och spelade in över en halv miljard dollar den första månaden. Robert Downey Jr är lysande som Tony Stark, en rik företagsledare som kidnappas och tvingas att bygga ett fruktansvärt vapen. Han lyckas dock skapa en rustning och flyr, varpå han beslutar sig för att beskydda världen som Iron Man. Bland övriga toppnamn i rollistan märks Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow och Jeff Bridges. Filmen är producerad av Avi Arad, mannen bakom tidigare superhjältesuccéer som Spiderman, X-men och Fantastic Four, vilket är en garanti för fantastisk underhållning. Precis som specialeffekterna från ILM är en garanti för en häftig filmupplevelse.

I ett episkt äventyr regisserat av Jon Favreau (Iron Man) får vi möta människovalpen Mowgli, som har vuxit upp hos en flock vargar i djungeln. Han hamnar på en fängslande resa mot självinsikt när han plötsligt tvingas bryta upp från det som dittills varit hans enda hem. Bland de välkända originalrösterna hörs Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley och Scarlett Johansson.
