In 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' (2021), as he adjusts to life as the host of the alien symbiote Venom, Eddie is granted an exclusive interview with incarcerated serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). While he attempts to solve a murder case on behalf of Detective Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham), Cletus becomes the new host of symbiote Carnage and breaks out of prison to reunite with his former girlfriend Frances Barrison (Naomie Harris).
