In 'Bodyguard Kiba' (1973) karate master Naoto Kiba (Chiba) uses his skills to thwart a terrorist attack onboard an aeroplane. He then starts a bodyguard service and is quickly hired by Reiko (Mari Atsumi) who wants protection from the local yakuza, but Kiba soon realises that she has not been entirely honest with him. In 'Bodyguard Kiba: Deadly Triangle Jump' (1973) Kiba is imprisoned after seeking revenge on the man who blinded his sister Maki (Etsuko Shihomi). When he discovers that the same people responsible for his father's death have kidnapped his sister and forced her into prostitution, he vows to find her and exact his brutal vengeance. In 'Yakuza Wolf 2: Extend My Condolences' (1972) Ibuki (Chiba) was betrayed by a Yakuza boss and sent to prison for a crime he did not commit.
