In 'Creed' (2015) Adonis Johnson Creed (Jordan) never knew his father Apollo, a world heavyweight boxing champion who died in the ring. After an encounter with his dad's former rival and friend, Adonis asks Rocky to coach him, but the young fighter will have his work cut out for him as he prepares to take the light heavyweight division by storm. In 'Creed II' (2018), despite losing his last fight, Adonis makes his way to the top of the division before a shock championship win. Riding high on his new-found fame, he proposes to girlfriend Bianca (Thompson), who wants Adonis to join her in leaving Philadelphia for a new life in Los Angeles. However, Creed is drawn into a vengeful bout with Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), the son of the man whom killed his father in the ring 30 years ago. When Rocky refuses to train him for the big fight Creed is forced to go it alone but remains determined to finally avenge his father's death. Finally, in 'Creed III' (2023), three years after walking away from boxing, Adonis Creed (Jordan/Thaddeus J. Mixson) is forced to return to the ring to face vengeful childhood friend Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors/Spence Moore II), who has spent the last 18 years in prison. Having retired and settled in Los Angeles with his family, Adonis is training the next generation of heavyweight champions when Damian appears in his gym looking for his own shot at the title. When the planet destroyer Unicron (voice of Colman Domingo) attacks the homeworld of the Maximals, seeking to steal their Transwarp Key - a device which enables travel through portals in space and time - the Maximals use the Key to flee to Earth. In New York in 1994, Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos) stumbles across the Autobot Mirage (voice of Pete Davidson) while Elena Wallace (Dominique Fishback), a museum worker, discovers half of the Transwarp Key. This triggers the arrival of the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), and Unicron's Terrorcons, led by Scourge (Peter Dinklage).
