Master of Horror Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw, Salem's Lot, Life Force) returns to the works of Stephen King with this baroque and blackly comic adaptation of The Mangler.<br/><br/>When a worker at Gartley's Blue Ribbon Laundry is pulled into the titular laundry press and folded like a sheet, police officer John Hunton (Ted Levine, Silence of the Lambs) is called to investigate. Was it an accident, or is something more sinister going on? Hung Hsi Kwan (Kuan-Tai) leads the few survivors to safety and vows to one day have his revenge, working to become a master of the Tiger style of kung fu. He falls in love with Wing Chun (Lily Li), who has mastered the Crane style. When they have a son, they both train him in their respective styles, until it is time for Hung Hsi Kwan to face Pai Mei again... In 'Heroes of the East' (1978) Ho Tao (Liu) marries a Japanese woman, Yumiko Koda (Yuka Mizuno), but when they argue about which country has the superior martial arts styles, she returns to Japan. Ho Tao's efforts to reconcile with her backfire when he inadvertantly offends her sensei Takeno (Kurata Yasuaki), who brings a host of Japanese martial arts masters to China to face him one by one. Finally, in 'Dirty Ho' (1979), Master Wang (Liu), who is actually the eleventh son of the Emperor, is travelling incognito to his father's palace for the naming of the Emperor's successor when he crosses paths with jewel thief Dirty Ho (Wong Yue). He protects Ho from the police and begins to train him as his disciple and bodyguard. In 'Five Shaolin Masters' (1974), after Qing soldiers destroy the Shaolin temple, five survivors escape and swear vengeance. As they train hard to improve their skills before they must face their enemy again, they also seek to identify the traitor who betrayed them to the Qing forces. The prequel, 'Shaolin Temple' (1976), sees new students undergoing training in Shaolin methods while elsewhere, the Qing scheme to destroy them. As a traitor inside the temple begins working with the Qing, thousands of Qing forces arrive to massacre those inside the temple. In 'The Five Venoms' (1978), Yang Tieh (Chiang Sheng) is sent on a mission by his dying master to locate five of his former students and ascertain whether they are using their skills for good or evil. The Centipede (Lu Feng), The Snake (Wai Pak), The Scorpion (Sun Chien), The Lizard (Philip Kwok) and The Toad (Lo Mang) are each an expert in their own lethal combat style and Yang Tieh must decide who can be trusted to restore the reputation of their clan and who has betrayed its teachings. Finally, 'Crippled Avengers' (1978) sees Hu Ah-kue (Sun Chien), Chen Shuen (Philip Kwok), Wang Yi (Chiang Sheng) and Wei Jia-jie (Lo Mang) travel in search of Master Li Jing Ying (Ching Miao), hoping that he can train them so that they will be able to defeat the cruel and tyrannical Black Tiger Dao Tian-du (Chen Kuan-Tai) and his son Dao Chang (Lu Feng).<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

In 'The Most Dangerous Game' (1978) he is hired by Kohinata (Asao Uchida) to rescue his son-in-law who has been kidnapped by the Godai Conglomerate, but that isn't all Kohinata wants from Narumi... 'The Killing Game' (1979) finds Narumi forced out of retirement and caught up in a gang war between two rival yakuza clans, while chance meetings with two women from his past pull him deeper back into his old life.
