In the twenty-five years since The Hives exploded around the world, they have sold out stadiums and shared stages with everyone from AC/DC to The Rolling Stones. SPIN calls The Hives "the best live band on the planet" and Howlin' Pelle "the greatest frontman in rock," and the BBC dubbed the band "a force of nature." Rolling Stone named Veni Vidi Vicious one of the Top 100 Albums of the decade and "Hate To Say I Told You So" earned a spot on Pitchfork's Top 500 Songs of the 2000's. They have sold millions of albums world-wide with multiple RIAA Gold-certifications. In the time since Lex Hives, the band has released 2019's double A-side "I'm Alive"/"Good Samaritan" as well as a live album via Third Man Records, and embarked on a series of global tours. Held on August 1, 1992, at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, England, the concert was part of the "We Can't Dance" tour, which supported their 1991 album of the same name. The event was a massive outdoor festival-style show, drawing an estimated crowd of 120,000 fans, making it one of the largest concerts Genesis had ever played. <br/><br/>The classic lineup featured Phil Collins on vocals and drums, Tony Banks on keyboards, and Mike Rutherford on bass and guitar, with Chester Thompson and Daryl Stuermer providing additional instrumental support. <br/><br/>The setlist was a mix of their newer material and classic hits, showcasing the band's evolution from progressive rock pioneers to mainstream pop-rock icons.<br/><br/>The concert was notable for its spectacular production, including a massive stage setup, elaborate lighting, and a state-of-the-art sound system that ensured the music reached every corner of the vast Knebworth estate. Efter live-debuten i början av 90-talet spreds snabbt ryktet om bob hunds röjiga spelningar och explosiva, egensinniga låtar. Sedan dess har bandet haft en central plats på den nordiska rockscenen och efter 32 år har vi har nu hunnit fram till bandets 13e album. <br/><br/>Bob hund består av Thomas Öberg, Johnny Essing, Conny Nimmersjö, Mats Hellquist, Jonas Jonasson och Christian Gabel. Sex individer som inte passar in men som passar ihop. De skapar musik där verkligheten speglas i all sin vackra skevhet och de gör det tillsammans. Denna gång har de även blandat in ytterligare en kreativ kraft, Per Sunding, från popbandet Eggstone, har producerat, ett geni på ljud.<br/><br/>bob hunds allra första skivor spelades in i legendariska Tambourine Studios i Malmö tillsammans med just Per Sunding. Inför nya albumet klev bob hund alltså återigen över tröskeln till den gamla tegelbyggnaden.<br/><br/>Låtarna på skivan har gått omvägar och irrat runt ett bra tag innan de äntligen fått sin fulländade form. Vissa låtar sträcker sig långt tillbaka i tiden, andra frön såddes alldeles nyss.<br/>Vissa av låtarna skrevs redan innan "BOBHUNDMUSIKAL", en föreställning som framfördes på Helsingborgs Stadsteater 2020 och som sedan utvecklades till den förställning som heter "Den overkliga sanningen om bob hund" som bandet turnerat med under våren. Låtarna gavs sedan till Per Sunding, som inte sett eller hört varesig musikalen eller föreställningen och hans uppgift va att göra bob hund-låtar av dessa primadonnor till melodier. Till att börja med slängde han allt och kokade ner dem till skelett, innan han, tillsammans med bandet, började bygga upp dem igen.<br/>"Dessa melodier har nu blivit så förändrade att inte ens deras mamma skulle känna igen dem idag." säger Thomas.<br/> <br/>Dubbel LP, ekologiskt tryckt omslag, print på inner sleeve, återvunnen splatter vinyl.
