A Stalker (Aleksandr Kaidanovsky) leads writer Pisatel (Anatoli Solonitsyn) and a Professor (Nikolai Grinko) through an industrial wasteland called the Zone, in search of a room where truth is contained and wishes are said to be granted to anyone who enters. 'La Jetee' is a science fiction short that takes a man from the future back to his childhood in pre-apocalypse Paris. His ability to make contact with a woman he once glimpsed may be humanity's last hope. The film makes use of still pictures to tell almost the entire story. It won first prize at the 1963 Trieste Film Festival and was the inspiration behind Terry Gilliam's 'Twelve Monkeys'. Whilst 'Sans Soleil' is Marker's landmark avant-garde documentary which compiles exotic footage from across the globe to provide a collage of 'the dreams of the human race'. A fictionalised cameraman provides commentary on the images through the letters he writes to a woman.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Restored</i>

After several small fishing boats are sunk out at sea, survivors tell stories of a gigantic monster lurking beneath the waves. When Godzilla finally surfaces, mutated by American atomic weapons tests in the Pacific Ocean and now over 50 metres tall, the monster proceeds to lay waste to Japan. Initial attempts to destroy Godzilla fail and palaeontologist Kyohei Yamane (Takashi Shimura), his daughter Emiko (Momoko Kochi), salvage ship captain Hideto Ogata (Akira Takarada) and scientist Daisuke Serizawa (Akihiko Hirata) have one last chance to stop Godzilla before Tokyo is completely destroyed...<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Restored</i>

After attacking Tokyo, Godzilla is imprisoned in a mountain and various international factions compete to possess the monster's cells for the purposes of experimentation. Scientist Genshiro Shiragami (Kôji Takahashi) is hoping to genetically modify plants using Godzilla's cells but when mercenaries attack his lab, his daughter Erika (Yasuko Sawaguchi) is killed. Overcome with grief, Shiragami combines cells from Godzilla with those from a rose and from Erika and creates a hybrid he names Biollante. After growing rapidly in size, Biollante escapes containment and when Godzilla is freed, the two monsters engage in a fierce battle where Biollante's ability to evolve threatens Godzilla's supremacy.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Restored</i>
