Digipack.<br/><br/>Tillsammans är dom 160 år ( Willie 82 och Hag 78 ). 1983 släppte dessa herrar det numera klassiska albumet "Pancho & Lefty" och 1987 kom albumet "Seahorses" och sedan dess har fansen väntat på detta album. Titeln " Django and Jimmie" är en hyllning det deras idoler Django Reinhardt och Jimmie Rodgers. På albumet finns också en hyllning till The Man In Black, "Missing Ol' Johnny Cash" och en tolkning av Dylans "Don't Think Twice It's Alright".

Johnny Cash dog den 12 september 2003. Månaderna innan hans död spelade han in nytt material tillsammans med producenten Rick Rubin. Albumet "American V: A hundred highways" innehåller låtar skrivna av låtskrivare som Hank Williams, Rod McKuen, Bruce Springsteen, Don Gibson m fl. Dessutom innehåller albumet två låtar skrivna av Cash själv varav låten "Like the 309" var den sista låt han skrev och spelade in. <br/><br/>"I think that 'American V' may be my favorite of all the albums in the American series. It's different from all the others, it has a much different character. I think that this is as strong an album as Johnny ever made. These songs are Johnny's final statement.
