På hösten för 20 år sedan släpptes "Xplodera mig 2000" - Thåströms andra soloalbum på Mistlur. "Xplodera mig 2000" spelades in 1990, tillsammans med Sanken Sandqvist i Fuzzbox Studio i Amsterdam, Tango Studio/Eindhoven, Decibel och Atlantis. Mixades av Michael Ilbert i Music-a-matic. Thåström gjorde dessutom tillsammans med Erik Fritjofsson (Ståålfågel bl a) videofilmer till samtliga låtar, som endast har visats en gång; på releasepartyt i Hammarbyhamnen 1991. Dessa ligger med i utgåvan som en separat DVD. Bonusspår i form av 5 demolåtar inspelade i Tango Studio. <br/><br/>Plattan väckte viss chock hos många när den släpptes; den var råare och brutalare än nånsin - det var en total helomvändning från första soloplattan. Det var nåt helt nytt och ett stort steg från Bellman och Taube och gav en föraning om vad som komma skulle i och med Peace Love & Pitbulls.

Def Leppard är sanna rockikoner som under sin långa och mycket framgångsrika karriär sålt miljontals album, turnerat världen över, haft ett otal hits och numera är med i Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.<br/><br/>Deras debut kom 1980 och det stora genombrottet med albumet "Hysteria" 1987. De har sedan dess varit ett stadiumband som fortsatt att turnera hårt och som även headlinat Sweden Rock Festival. Def Leppard är kända för att vara noggranna och leverera genomarbetade album <br/>med fantastiskt sound och produktion. I och med att pandemin har gett dom tid att verkligen göra som de ville, är detta album en riktig fullträff. Alison Krauss gästar på två låtar.
