"The World Ain't Pretty" är Sophie Zelmanis första album med nytt material på tre och ett halvt år. Här finns ovanligt många uptempo-spår - åtminstone med Zelmani-mått mätt - samt en cover.<br/><br/>På albumet fortsätter Sophie sitt mångåriga och lovordade samarbete med producenten, arrangören och gitarristen Lars Halapi.<br/><br/>Kvar är också rytmsektionen Peter Korhonen (trummor) och Thomas Axelsson (bas), som lyhört understryker och förstärker låtarnas karaktär.<br/><br/>"Det känns så fint att tänka på mina "bandmedlemmar" att jag nästan får svindel! Hur länge jag har fått ha dem i mitt liv, hur betydelsefulla och viktiga de är både på scenen och utanför. Och som de spelar! Lyhört, varmt och ömsint. Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of The Beach Boys is a 2003 compilation of music by The Beach Boys released through Capitol Records. This collection is the most expansive compilation ever issued of their music, with 30 tracks clocking in at over 76 minutes and grabbing nearly every US Top 40 hit of their career, except for 1965's #20 hit "The Little Girl I Once Knew" and the 1976 top-30 hit "It's OK".
