Den amerikanske singer-songwritern/ musikern Mayer har producerat albumet "Born and raised" tillsammans med Don Was som tidigare har jobbat tillsammans med storheter som Rolling Stones, B. B. King och Bonnie Raitt. Med på albumet hittar vi även keyboardisten/ pianisten Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones och Eric Clapton), Sean Hurley på bas och Aaron Sterling på trummor.<br/><br/>John Mayers tidigare album, "Room For Squares, "Heavier Things", "Continuum" och "Battle Studies" har tillsammans sålt över 12 miljoner exemplar. John Mayer har vunnit sju stycken Grammy Awards och fått elva Grammynomineringar. John Mayer är känd för att röra sig mellan olika genrer och har samarbetat med en hel del artister från rock till blues, hip-hop till jazz och country. John Mayer har uppträtt och spelat in med Eric Clapton, BB King, Buddy Guy, T-Bone Burnett, Herbie Hancock, Dixie Chicks, Jay Z och Alicia Keys.

The latest chapter in Columbia/Legacy's highly acclaimed Bob Dylan Bootleg Series revisits an often-forgotten, rich vein in Dylan's vast and complex catalog, shining fresh light on the provocative new musical directions Dylan was taking as a songwriter and a recording artist from 1980 through 1985. In the early 1980s, while the music industry was grappling with the arrival of new trends and technology, from MTV to compact discs to digital recording, Bob Dylan was writing and recording new songs for a new decade, creating an essential new chapter in his studio catalog. Bob Dylan - Springtime In New York (1980-1985) celebrates the rich creative period surrounding Dylan's albums Shot Of Love, Infidels, and Empire Burlesque with previously unreleased outtakes, alternate takes, rehearsal recordings, live performances and more.

The original double album included 22 tracks, selected from the two shows Dylan played at the legendary Budokan hall in Tokyo on February 28 and March 1, 1978 during his first ever tour of Japan. Fast forward to 2006, when our Japanese office found the original multi-track tapes to both full shows in their archives. <br/><br/>2-LP set including 14 previously unreleased recordings. Titled 'Another Budokan 1978', this will include all the songs (compositions) that didn't make the original release plus the best alternate versions. This will be a gatefold sleeve with a Japanese OBI-strip and a 4-panel insert with liner notes.<br/> <br/>Note: this release is not part of the Bootleg Series.
