Hot on the heels of their ecstatically celebrated and AMP long-listed, SOLD OUT debut record, Melbourne duo Time For Dreams are back with a shiny new 7" single. Recorded and mixed in an impulsive 2 day session with John Lee (Phaedra Studios) in the cosmic surrounds of Coburg late last year. Moody and hypnotic as always, You've Got a Friend is a glorious addition to the Time For Dreams song cycle backed by a transported version of The Smiths classic track Death of a Disco Dancer. You've Got a Friend (named as a homage to Carole King) was written during a time of depression, loneliness and general disillusionment with the human race. A tiny tale of kindness and friendship in a world of violence and apathy. Imagine getting into a fight on the way home from the pub and being rescued by a sinister hermit. You can't decide if they are a saint or a serial killer. Death of a Disco Dancer seemed a thematically appropriate b side.- Amanda Roff

It’s been 10 years since their last album and they’re back from outer-space: tougher, wilder and sharper than ever. Miles Brown, of cult dark psych, space- trance legends The Night Terrors and Australia’s premier thereminist (student of Russian theremin queen Lydia Kavina) takes centre stage with his debut album : SÉANCE FICTION. No longer lurking in the dark corners of the dance floor Miles tightens focus to a lazer beam of blinding, sharp edged pop brilliance tinged in prog goth darkness.

Little Desert are a savage force of pulsating psych, afire with hard rock brilliance, doused in post punk cool. Featuring the scorching keyboard of Roman Tucker (Rocket Science) and a voice that will tear you apart (Esther Rivers), Little Desert have a sound that is hard to pin down.
