I år är det 30 år sedan Roxette gav ut sitt tredje album "Joyride", som följde upp bandets rekordartade globala genombrott med albumet "Look Sharp!" 1989. <br/><br/>Roxette hade på rekordtid förvandlats till ett globalt hitfenomen tack vare de tre USA-ettorna "The Look", "Listen To Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love" och andra stora hits som "Dressed For Success" och "Dangerous". <br/><br/>"Joyride" var albumet som skulle cementera de smått osannolika framgångarna för Marie Fredriksson och Per Gessle. Vilket den gjorde med besked. Albumet blev inte bara Roxettes mest sålda, titelspåret svischade den 1 maj 1991 upp till den amerikanska hitlistans förstaplats - och gav därmed Roxette deras fjärde USA-etta. Därmed satte gruppen ett rekord som ingen skandinavisk grupp eller artist har lyckats överträffa.<br/><br/>"Joyride"-jubileet firas med en vinylbox bestående av fyra LP-skivor, som förutom originalutgåvan innehåller mängder med outgivet eller svåråtkomligt material som tecknar en större bild av ett stycke svensk musikhistoria: demos, alternativa versioner och överblivet material. <br/><br/>Dessutom följer en rikt illustrerad 32-sidig booklet med, som i text och med unika bilder från Roxettes arkiv berättar historien om hur ett klassiskt svenskt popalbum blev till. <br/><br/>Tolv tidigare outgivna låtar.<br/>Tolv av låtarna är tidigare outgivna, bland annat den första tagningen av "Hotblooded", som ett tag var tänkt som albumets öppningslåt innan "Joyride" knuffade ner den till andraplatsen. Intressant nog finns här även två Gyllene Tider-låtar, som i januari 1990 var kandidater till att hamna på den kommande Roxette-plattan.<br/><br/>- Det handlar om "Run" och "Another Place, Another Time", som Gyllene gav ut på vår engelska platta "Heartland Café" 1984. Och när jag hösten 1989 letade efter material till nya plattan fastnade jag för de två. Vi gjorde nya och mer "Roxifierade" demoversioner av dem - och framförallt "Run" tror jag hade kunnat bli hur stark som helst, minns Per Gessle.<br/><br/>Inspelningarna lades dock på hyllan - i Roxhögkvarteret fanns det nämligen ett litet men starkt tabu mot att Roxette och Gyllene Tider skulle blandas ihop, så därför har de legat och samlat damm i arkivet. Fram till nu.<br/><br/>Andra 1990-demos som nu kan höras för första gången är "Small Talk", "Church Of Your Heart", "Physical Fascination", "Things Will Never Be The Same", "I Remember You" och inte minst blivande singelbaksidan "The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye" - en av de starkaste låtarna som aldrig lyckades ta en plats på albumet, senare en stor favorit bland många Roxettefans och inspelad av flera andra artister, bl a amerikanska sångerskan Laura Branigan. <br/><br/>"Sweet Thing" är också en av många kandidater som aldrig lyckades armbåga sig in på "Joyride"-albumet, men som nu ser dagens ljus för första gången.

Warner Music are delighted to announce the release of a commemorative triple black vinyl album in honour of the 40th Anniversary of IRON MAIDEN's seminal third album, The Number Of The Beast, which was also the first to feature Bruce Dickinson on vocals and was to become the record which catapulted the band to international stardom. Included in the new vinyl package is Beast Over Hammersmith - available now officially for the very first time on vinyl - featuring the live concert from March 1982's now legendary Hammersmith Odeon London show from the Beast On The Road World Tour. Recorded only days before the release of The Number Of The Beast album, its remarkable to think these now classic songs at that time were still brand new, unfamiliar and being heard live by fans for the very first time. A real piece of history in the making.<br/><br/>The package features exclusive liner notes written by Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris as well as restored and expanded artwork taken from the CD format of Beast Over Hammersmith, previously only available in the Limited Edition Eddie's Archive boxset originally released in 2002. <br/><br/>Steve Harris comments, <br/>"On this vinyl release we get the chance to put Total Eclipse in its rightful spot on the album for the first time. The reason it didn't make it in the first place was that it was all a mad rush when we were finishing the record and we had to get the Run to the Hills single out before the tour and we basically had to pick a B-side and it was between Gangland and Total Eclipse and we just picked the wrong one, really! I think Total Eclipse is a stronger song and the album would have been stronger if it had been on there."

MOONAGE DAYDREAM illuminates the life and genius of David Bowie, one of the most prolific and influential artists of our time. Told through sublime, kaleidoscopic, never-before-seen footage, performances and music, Brett Morgen's (The Kid Stays in the Picture, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, Jane) feature length experiential cinematic odyssey explores David Bowie's creative, musical and spiritual journey. The film is guided by David Bowie's own narration and is the first officially sanctioned film on the artist. <br/><br/>The companion album to MOONAGE DAYDREAM features songs from spanning Bowie's career and includes previously unheard material, unique mixes created for the film and this release along with dialogue from Bowie himself. <br/> <br/>Highlights include a previously unreleased live medley of 'The Jean Genie / Love Me Do / The Jean Genie' recorded live at the final Ziggy Stardust concert at Hammersmith Odeon in 1973, featuring Jeff Beck on guitar. Other rarities include an early version of the Hunky Dory favourite 'Quicksand' and a previously unreleased live version of 'Rock 'n' Roll With Me' from the legendary 1974 'Soul Tour'.
