NEIL YOUNG'S SEMINAL AFTER THE GOLD RUSH 50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION <br/>VINYL BOX INCLUDES A 7" SINGLE, LITHO PRINT, AND NEW ARTWORK <br/><br/>The 50th Anniversary Edition vinyl box set will pressed on 180g vinyl and individually numbered. The artwork for the album has been updated for this Anniversary Edition. The cover is printed on special silver coated paper stock. <br/><br/>The set also includes a 7" single in a picture sleeve with two versions of album outtake "Wonderin'." Side A, originally included in The Archives Vol. 1: 1963-1972, was recorded in Topanga, California, in March 1970, and Side B is a previously unreleased version recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood in August 1969. A litho print of the album's front cover is exclusively included in this vinyl box set.

Neil Young's 1971 solo show at The Shakespeare Theater (in Stratford, Connecticut). <br/><br/>The show was filmed and recorded on 22 January 1971, just two months after the release of After The Gold Rush and the concert was shown on German TV later that year. The performance has an amazing setlist but features only a couple of songs from After The Goldrush while Neil previews four from Harvest which, amazingly, was still over a year away from being released at that point.<br/><br/>The concert was shot on 16mm film and is apparently "the earliest live footage of Neil performing that is known to exist". Young himself considers the performance "superior to our beloved 'Massey Hall'" and says "Young Shakespeare is a very special event. To my fans, I say this is the best ever."
