Finally, in 'The Predator' (2018), when an accidental signal is emitted to the Predators, they interpret it as a message to come back to Earth and soon begin hunting down any human that gets in their way. A task force of hardened soldiers headed by former Army Ranger Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) and science teacher Casey Bracket (Olivia Munn) set out to take down the monstrous killers before human civilisation as a whole is threatened. As the tension increases it may only take a single spark to trigger an explosive war that will pit the humans against the apes in an all-out battle for survival. Finally, in 'War for the Planet of the Apes' (2017), Caesar finds himself and his kind trapped in a war with the humans led by Colonel McCullogh (Woody Harrelson). Finally, in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' (2024), when Deadpool learns that Mr Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) from the Time Variance Authority is planning to destroy his universe, he embarks on a mission to find a Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) variant who can help him to save his world from annihilation.
