In 'The Clarion Call' a policeman (Dale Robertson) faces a moral dilemma when he realises that his friend (Richard Widmark) is a killer. In 'The Last Leaf' a young woman (Jean Peters) approaches her artist neighbour (Gregory Ratoff) to help save her dying sister (Anne Baxter). In 'The Ransom of Red Chief' two swindlers (Fred Allen and Oscar Levant) kidnap a boy and hold him for ransom. The result is bitter warfare, but there seems to be a hope of peace when Apache sympathiser Tom Jeffords (James Stewart) is called upon to negotiate a treaty with the Native American chief, Cochise (Jeff Chandler). A truce is called, and the two men become firm friends. The albinos worship the Eye of Ishtar and think that Bentley and Belamin have been sent by the Eye itself. As a gift they give Bentley an attractive slave woman. Jonathan Harker (John Van Eyssen) journeys to Castle Dracula, where he is turned into one of the undead by the famous vampire (Lee). Professor Van Helsing (Cushing) arrives and drives a stake through Harker's heart, but must then pursue Dracula to London, where the Count intends to make Harker's fiancée Lucy Holmwood his bride. Using the family fortune to build a new laboratory, Frankenstein begins creating a creature from body parts which he is able to bring to life. However, things soon get out of hand as the monster breaks free and sets out on a murderous rampage around the castle.
