However, Beni has already invoked a curse which frees Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), a supernaturally-gifted mummy aiming to sacrifice Evie in a bid to resurrect his former lover Anck Su Namun (Patricia Velasquez). In 'The Mummy Returns' (2001) Rick and Evie have now settled down to married life in London with their eight-year-old son Alex (Freddie Boath). Meanwhile, the British museum is playing host to the corpse of Imhotep, the mummy which had previously given Rick and Evie such a hard time. When ancient magic brings Imhotep back to life, a chain of events is set in motion that will lead to the end of the world, thus forcing Rick and Evie to spring into action once again. Finally, in 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor' (2008) the action moves to China, where for 2,000 years, the ruthless Chinese Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) and his vast army of warriors have been frozen in time, cast in clay, waiting for their moment to rise again. When young archaeologist Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) is duped into bringing the ancient warlord back to life, he soon realises he has to call in the only people he knows with experience and knowledge of how to battle the undead - his parents Rick and Evie (Maria Bello). As the emperor attempts to reunite with his massed warriors and finally fulfil his dream of world domination, Alex and his family, along with mystical sorceress Zi Juan (Michelle Yeoh), have to pull out all the stops to keep the evil tyrant from achieving his ends.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In 'Batman' (1989) the streets of Gotham City are no longer safe for criminals, who are being picked off by a masked vigilante in a rubber suit - dubbed 'Batman' by the press. Reporter Alexander Knox (Robert Wuhl) teams with photographer Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) in an attempt to discover Batman's true identity - an investigation which leads them to the door of mysterious millionaire Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton). Meanwhile, crime boss Carl Grissom (Jack Palance)'s attempt to rid himself of untrustworthy henchman Jack Napier (Jack Nicholson) does not go according to plan, and after emerging physically and mentally disfigured from a vat of chemicals, Napier reinvents himself as the psychotic Joker. In 'Batman Returns' (1992), 33 years after being abandoned as a baby, Oswald Cobblepot (Danny DeVito) returns to Gotham City, bent on revenge, as the Penguin. He begins a warped campaign to become mayor of Gotham, helped by millionaire businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) and undertakes a mission to murder every firstborn son in the city - a plan which will avenge his own beginnings. Meanwhile, Batman (Keaton) emerges to stop him, but struggles with his dual identity after becoming romantically involved with Shreck's former secretary Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer), who takes up her own secret identity as Catwoman to get revenge on Shreck. In 'Batman Forever' (1995) former District Attorney Harvey 'Two-Face' Dent (Tommy Lee Jones) is terrorising Gotham City when a new villain appears on the scene - The Riddler (Jim Carrey). Together they plot to take over Gotham and discover Batman (Val Kilmer)'s identity, using a device which can probe the human mind. Meanwhile, the caped crusader is joined in his fight by new sidekick Robin (Chris O'Donnell), whose trapeze-artist family have recently been slain by Two-Face. Finally, in 'Batman and Robin' (1997) Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (O'Donnell) have to stop the vengeful Mr Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from taking over Gotham City. To make matters worse, the venomous Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) decides to join forces with Freeze. It transpires that he is the time twin of Royal Flying Corps pilot James 'Biggles' Bigglesworth, meaning that whenever one of them is in trouble, the other is transported through time to come to their aid. As Biggles embarks on his latest dangerous mission against the Germans, Jim struggles to maintain his normal life back in the '80s and explain his unusual disappearances to fiancée Debbie (Fiona Hutchison), while his services are repeatedly called upon by his assigned twin.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

At the moment of his imminent dispatch, however, he is incredibly thrown backwards in time to a kingdom of dominant, uniformly buxom and comely brunette ladies and their blonde slaves. Their leader Queen Kari (Martine Beswick) puts the hard word on the junglist but he turns her down and sides with the blondes, leading to his imprisonment. Escape from the shoddily built prison looks simple enough, but then there's the matter of escaping this prehistoric timeslice and getting back to the '60s.Produced under the title 'Slave Girls of the White Rhino', the film was a hastily conceived means of recycling the sets and costumes from One Million Years B.C. Producer and director Michael Carreras wisely wrote the screenplay under a pseudonym. The name he chose, 'Henry Younger', was a joke at the expense of Anthony Hinds, who wrote under the name 'John Elder'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
