'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (2014) is set two years after the events of 'The Avengers' (2012) and sees Rogers working for S.H.I.E.L.D. while he continues to try to adjust to modern society. When he discovers that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been infiltrated by Hydra, he joins forces with Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and former soldier Sam Wilson to uncover the extent of the corruption and defeat a powerful Hydra assassin called the Winter Soldier (Stan). In 'Captain America: Civil War' (2016), following the events of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' (2015), the United Nations seek to oversee and control the activity of the Avengers, which causes a deep divide within the team of superheroes. The Avengers are split into two opposing factions headed by Captain America (Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), when a new threat to the safety of the world emerges. Will the Avengers be able to defeat their common enemy and repair the schism between them? Finally, in 'Captain America: Brave New World' (2025), Sam Wilson assumes the mantle of Captain America. When an attempt is made to assassinate President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), Wilson uncovers evidence of a conspiracy to sow discord and division between America and Japan. The stop-motion animated musical 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' (1993), produced and visualised by Tim Burton, is set in a parallel world where different lands represent different holiday periods. Skeleton Jack (voice of Chris Sarandon) from Halloween Town becomes converted to Christmas and sets out to spread joy in the world. However, when Jack's mission leads him to kidnap Santa (voice of Edward Ivory) it becomes clear that he is not really in tune with the Yuletide spirit. In 'Alice in Wonderland' (2010), based on the characters from the Lewis Carroll classics 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass', the 19-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the magical world of her childhood adventure to reunite with her friends the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), Tweedledum and Tweedledee (both played by Matt Lucas), the Dormouse (Barbara Windsor), the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman) and the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry). Alice discovers her true destiny as she joins forces with the colourful denizens of Wonderland to overthrow the wicked Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter). 'Frankenweenie' (2012), Burton's black and white stop-motion homage to Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein', is a remake of his 1984 short of the same name. The story follows a young boy called Victor (voice of Charlie Tahan), who harnesses the powers of science to bring his beloved pet dog Sparky back to life - with unexpected and alarming consequences. 'Ed Wood' (1994) is a biopic of one of Hollywood's worst film directors. Setting up shop in Tinseltown with plenty of enthusiasm but no discernible talent, Ed Wood (Depp) is undeterred when his debut feature, cross-dressing drama 'Glen Or Glenda' (in which he also stars) is a flop. He goes on to make 'Bride of the Monster', also a commercial and creative disaster, with ailing horror star Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau), before embarking on his most grandiose scheme yet: 'Plan 9 from Outer Space'...<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

In 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' (1981), set in 1936, archaeologist Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) has been charged with retrieving the Ark of the Covenant, which US intelligence believes contains the original Ten Commandments. Nazi agents are also on the trail, however, and it is up to Indy and old flame Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) to get to the Ark first. In 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' (1984), set in 1935, Indy is forced to escape from some villains in a Shanghai nightclub with singer Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) and 12-year-old Short Round (Ke Huy Quan). They end up in an Indian village, where the adventuring archaeologist is asked by the locals to retrieve a sacred stone from a Khali cult. In 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' (1989) Indy comes up against the Nazis once again after they kidnap his father, fellow archaeologist Dr Henry Jones (Sean Connery). Father and son are soon putting family tensions to one side in a search for the Holy Grail, which the Nazis also want in order to achieve eternal life. Finally, 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' (2008) is set at the height of Cold War paranoia during the 1950s and finds the intrepid archaeologist involved in a plot involving Soviet agents. They want Indy to find a legendary crystal skull that is said to grant the owner supernatural powers. Indy manages to escape from the Russians and soon he is in a race to find the skull, joined by young rebel, Mutt (Shia LaBeouf), the son of Indy's one-time love, Marion. Meanwhile, the Soviet agents, led by the brilliant, ice-cold Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett), are also hot on the trail. However, he and his fellow intern Sophie Pettingel (Wilde) soon begin to realise that the CEO, Humphrey Wells (Christoph Waltz), has his own agenda, which is disrupting the magical world.
