They discover that the group are planning an attack on a power station. Can they stop them before it's too late? In 'The Big Chance' (1957), fed up with living his mundane life, travel agency employee Bill Anderson (William Russell) siezes his opportunity for a change when a customer returns tickets to Panama. Bill decides to take the tickets and go to Panama himself. While at the airport, however, he is distracted by the alluring Diana Maxwell (Adrienne Corri). When the flight is delayed until the following day, Diana manages to get Bill involved in all manner of misadventures. Will he be glad of this change from the humdrum of his daily existence? In 'Dublin Nightmare' (1958), adapted from the novel by Robin Estridge, Steve Lawlor (Richard Leech) is reported dead following a car accident after he helped a Republican gang rob a Northern Irish security vehicle. The loot has gone missing and while the gang believe the car passenger Danny O'Callaghan (Pat O'Sullivan) has betrayed them, Lawlor's former girlfriend is convinced he is still alive. His photographer friend John Kevin (William Sylvester) investigates. In 'Deadly Nightshade' (1953) Robert Matthews (Emrys Jones) is arrested in Cornwall when he is mistaken for convict John Barlow, to whom he bears a striking resemblance. When Barlow (also Jones) hears of this, he makes his way to the man's cottage and takes his place. After surviving a local shipwreck Robert's fiancée Ann Farrington (Zena Marshall) is taken in by Barlow, who maintains his imposture but soon discovers that Matthews is not all he seems.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

The wheelchair-bound Jeff spends his time observing his neighbours through a telephoto lens, bestowing them with nicknames and growing familiar with their daily routines. Things become notably less light-hearted when Jeff becomes obsessed with the notion that Lars Thorwald (Raymond Burr), who lives in the apartment opposite, has murdered his wife. Since he is unable to investigate himself, he seeks the assistance of his socialite girlfriend, Lisa (Grace Kelly), and the pair plunge into a dangerous amateur investigation. In 'The Birds' (1963) spoiled socialite Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren) falls in love with lawyer Mitch Brenner (Rod Taylor) after they meet in a bird shop. Melanie pursues him across the water to his Bodega Bay home to offer him the gift of a lovebird. Inexplicably, she is attacked by a gull on her way back, the first of a series of attacks by birds that mass in their thousands overhead. Melanie, Mitch and the other inhabitants of Bodega find themselves facing a desperate struggle for survival in a classic tale of terror from the air. 'Vertigo' (1958) follows troubled San Francisco cop Scottie (James Stewart). When his fear of heights indirectly causes the death of a colleague, Scottie makes the decision to retire from the police force. Unfortunately, his next employment provides little relief from the phobic tendencies that haunt him. Hired by magnate Gavin Elster (Tom Helmore) to follow his wife, Madeleine (Kim Novak), who Elster believes to be a danger to herself, Scottie becomes bewitched by her to the point of obsession. After he saves her from a suicide attempt, Scottie and Madeleine become romantically entangled, but will the pair be able to steer clear of the destructive impulses that have bound them together? In 'Psycho' (1960) Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) goes on the run after stealing $40,000 from one of her employer's clients. A wrong turn in a storm leads Marion to an isolated motel run by the twitchy Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), who is constantly at the beck and call of his unseen mother. Marion's disappearance leads her sister, Lila (Vera Miles), and her boyfriend, Sam (John Gavin) to conduct some amateur investigations at the motel. As sharks circle, Jaelyn must fight back if she is to save herself and her husband. Finally in 'Great White' (2021), all does not go to plan when a group of friends embark on the trip of a lifetime. Following an accident that grounds their sea plane, they find themselves stranded in the ocean with flesh-eating sharks on the prowl. Unable to recall either who he is or what has happened to him, his only clue to his identity is the number of a Swiss bank account which has been etched into a device implanted in his body. Following the lead to Zurich, he discovers money, passports and a gun waiting for him, but also earns the attention of the security services and has to leave in a hurry. He then persuades a young woman named Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente) to drive him to Paris, where he hopes to find out his true identity and discover the reason why the CIA are taking such an interest in him. In 'The Bourne Supremacy' (2004), Bourne has left his violent past behind him and is living a normal life with girlfriend Marie under an assumed name. But his plans for a peaceful existence are crushed when he narrowly escapes an assassination attempt. Now hunted by an unknown enemy, Bourne must prove that he is not an easy target. In 'The Bourne Ultimatum' (2007), Bourne races to uncover the dark mysteries of his past while a government agent is hot on his trail following a shootout in Moscow. 'The Bourne Legacy' (2012) moves away from the central Bourne character to focus on a new protagonist, CIA operative Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner). The film, which takes up events where 'The Bourne Ultimatum' left off, sees Cross making the vow to give himself over completely to 'the operation', quickly proving himself to be the shining star in a new generation of deadly undercover assassins. Finally, in 'Jason Bourne' (2016), Matt Damon returns to star as the deadly CIA assassin. After spending years off the grid, the former agent unexpectedly emerges from the shadows in search of more answers surrounding his hazy past. Meanwhile, new CIA Director Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones) is dealing with the fallout following a major cyber attack, and authorises a new program to hunt down Bourne after he shows up on agency surveillance systems.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>
