The band includes Sheriff Franklin Hunt (Kurt Russell), womaniser John Brooder (Matthew Fox) and 'back up deputy sheriff' Chicory (Richard Jenkins). Enlisting the help of a couple of local fugitives, Brigade intends to continue his onward journey but the Indians show no sign of surrender.
