The ballet teacher, Mrs Wilkinson (Ruthie Henshall), recognises his potential and encourages him to join her class. It soon becomes clear that Billy has the talent and skill necessary to attend the Royal Ballet School in London, but his father (Deka Walmsley) is vehemently opposed to the idea. With the advice of his wise older brother Brendan (Jack Reynor), and his friends, he might be able to pull it off.
